On Etsy since 2011

I start with waxing the design, I have spools of different gauges of wax wire. I melt the design with a hot wax pen.
Ring taking shape on a ring mandrel. Each piece is made for the stone I am working with.
Multiple waxes are put on the same base for investing.
After Casting- all 14k yellow gold pieces ready for cutting off, grinding and finishing.
My Studio, complete with dog beds under my workbenches. :o)

30 Year Journey of my Craft

I started out slow in my craft, I have always had a love for arts and crafts, but went to College for a Science degree. It took me to work in the field of Respiratory Therapy for 3 years and meeting a couple of great ladies to change my path in life forever.
What a great change it has been. It seems so natural to me now to design jewelry.

I start with the stone, which has been hand selected at various gem shows by me. Then I wax each piece around the stone, and just let the stone lead me in the right direction. I have a rather old and Victorian design that I tend to go back too, which I think has a soft but strong look to it. I like to change it up to make every piece new and fresh. All my work is one of a kind.

I also enjoy working with wire and making new creations, either necklaces, earrings or bracelets, each is unique and one of a kind also.

I can’t imagine doing anything else at this point in life. I am constantly trying to come up with new fresh ideas to keep me growing and my customers coming back for more.
