Entrepreneurial coach by day and creative entrepreneur by night

It's one thing to coach and another thing to actually take the plunge and do it. Well, that's what I did. My day job is coaching student entrepreneurs at a private university in upstate NY. After 8 years, I finally took the plunge and started my own business creating rustic home decor.

I have always been creative and love to work with multiple mediums. I started by working with reclaimed wood, mostly from pallets and fence pickets finding a market in large wall clocks. I later added wreaths to my shop. Each is handmade by me and one of a kind.

My business name describes me to a tee. I am a denim n' heels kinda girl.

Why aren't the hands installed on the clock when I receive it?

The clock will be sent without the hands installed due to the high rate of damage that can occur in shipping and unpacking. To install the hands, simply unscrew the cap on the stem of the mechanism, firmly place the hour hand on first, pushing it down the shaft until securely seated. Then add the minute hand and replace the cap. Be sure all three parts are level then rotate the minute hand around the clock once to ensure it does not get caught on the hour hand. If it gets caught, check again that all three parts are level.

Why does my order look different than what was pictured?

Please remember that every piece we make is hand-crafted from wood, and that no two pieces will ever be identical. Also, wood often contains cracks, knots, mineral streaks, color variations, etc. and our pieces are no exception. These typical small/minor 'imperfections' add to the beauty of natural products and do not constitute defects or warrant returns. Similarly variations in color and grain pattern are inevitable, but we try to ensure photos are good representatives of the piece you will receive.

With that said, if you are ever dissatisfied with a piece for ANY reason, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to make sure you are satisfied

My wreath arrived flat or squished, how do I fix it?

When packaging a wreath, I do my best to cushion it with bubble wrap and ziptie it to the box to reduce any shifting during transit. If your wreath arrives a bit mishaped, simply fluff the materials and ribbon with your hands to bring it back to life. The ribbon is wired and easily reshaped if needed. Please email with any trouble.

What do I do if I receive my order and it is broken?

Even with the most careful packing of each order, items can get damaged in transit. Unfortunately it happens.
If you receive your order and it seems to have broken in route to you, please allow me the chance to make it right.
Contact me right away and I will work with you to fix the problem to your satisfaction.
