Diana Alm Liston began her art career as a painter and photographer. She later expanded into sculpture and clay. When she and her husband moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona she discovered lapidary and silversmithing.

Diana began working under the guidance and tutelage of master artist, Mark Payne. Mark’s lapidary works and silversmithing puts him among the top artists of this craft.

Diana’s work puts a modern spin on the traditional motifs and stones of southwest design. Her unique, one of a kind jewelry works have found homes across the United States and Canada.

Bryan Ortloff, contributing artist to DNS, joined the studio in 2013. Bryan's work expands the scope of the studio by adding a more masculine flare to our designs. We look forward to offering more of Bryan's designs in the future.

Marvelous piece of jewelry, a work of art! I had been searching for some time for a bracelet with high quality ocean jasper, and coming up short until now. The bright polish silver work on the cuff and setting greatly enhance a top grade stone - one of the rare beauties to come out of the Marovato mine, beautiful pink and green shades and a spectacular pattern. I have a small wrist and wasn’t sure it would fit, but it does perfectly with a little adjustment to the cuff. Thanks to Diana, an excellent designer and artist – I appreciated your patience with extra pictures and answering all of my questions, for careful packing and shipping. 10+ stars, look forward to your new creations.

Shipped my gift ASAP since I procrastinated for a friends Graduation! Put it in a red ring box as she says it's good luck for my friend. So sweet and the ring is exactly what she's wanted. Loved this!
