Inspiration
Hello and welcome to Desert Rain Jewelry!
I am a self-taught artist and have been making jewelry for over 9 years. I started by signing up for a beginner beading class at a local shop and making beaded and wire-wrapped pieces. I have been and still am fascinated by the variety and beauty of natural stones, the different colors, textures and the endless creative ideas that they bring forth. I still make natural stone jewelry in my other shop GeminiMoonJewels.etsy.com.
Eventually I turned my aspirations into working with metal and since I don't trust myself with a torch- yet - metal stamping was a natural choice and it’s been a rewarding one! I love making jewelry with meaning and a piece that is both personal and custom.
My passions are animals, the environment, and making the world a better place for all of us. I donate part of the sales to a local rescue that I also foster for, the World Wildlife Fund, and the Nature Conservancy. My inspiration comes from the world around me – my puppies, the people I come in contact with every day, the love of my family, the friends I make on Etsy, and the unequaled beauty of the Sonoran Desert.

Care instructions
Please be aware all metals will tarnish over time. Clean with a jewelry polishing cloth - no liquid cleaners!- and store in a plastic bag when not wearing it.
Also, keep your item away from chlorine - like pools and hot tubs- sulfur, lotions, perfumes, or creams. These will have a damaging effect on the metal and stones that may be irreversible.
Gift wrapping and packaging

No receipt is included in your package.
Can you stamp on both sides?
I cannot stamp on both sides of a disc/bar/square because the impression of each letter/number/symbol will ruin the stamping on the other side. Each letter/number/symbol is stamped by using steel stamps struck by a hammer making an impression in the metal, similar to embossing.
