About

Spreading my love for hand block printing

As a textile designer, I worked with artisans from different corners of our beautiful country, India. My love for hand block printing rose tremendously when I myself got involved in the process.

What pained me immensely though was the state of the artisans involved in this art. The remuneration for their work is so low that even after working long hours, creating some of the most gorgeous fabrics on earth, they still can not sustain the livelihood of their families.

My presence on Etsy is a small attempt in correcting this. I hope to convince my fellow Etsians that hand printed organic fabrics are the way to go.
