¡Hola! Soy Lori, el corazón y el alma detrás de Design & Dandy Co. Déjame compartir contigo un pedacito de mi historia. Todo comenzó con una pérdida profunda: la partida de mi dulce hijo, Sammy, un adorable Shih-Poo con un espíritu juguetón, amor incondicional y energía ilimitada. Perdimos a Sammy inesperadamente cuando su salud cambió repentinamente, pero mi familia y yo tuvimos la suerte de haber pasado 15 años maravillosos con él.
En lo más profundo del dolor, recurrí a mis herramientas de diseño como salida terapéutica. Las noches llenas de recuerdos de Sammy llevaron a la creación de su monumento, un tributo que capturó el espíritu de nuestro vínculo inquebrantable. Lo que no sabía era que ese primer diseño se convertiría en la semilla de un viaje sincero.
Nuestros monumentos a mascotas nacieron del deseo de ofrecer consuelo y consuelo a quienes, como yo, habían experimentado el dolor de perder una querida mascota. Cada diseño es un trabajo de amor, una pieza personalizada elaborada con el mismo cuidado y compasión que me ayudó a superar mi propio dolor.
Uno de los aspectos más gratificantes de mi trabajo es la oportunidad de ayudar a otras familias en duelo a honrar los recuerdos de sus amigos peludos. He tenido el privilegio de conectarme con maravillosos dueños de mascotas y ser parte de su viaje de curación. Sus historias me inspiran a diario y estoy agradecido de contribuir al hermoso tapiz de amor que existe entre las mascotas y sus familias.

Hi there! I'm Lori, the heart and soul behind Design & Dandy Co. Let me share a little piece of my story with you. It all began with a profound loss — the departure of my sweet boy, Sammy — an adorable Shih-Poo with a playful spirit, unconditional love, and boundless energy. We lost Sammy unexpectedly when his health suddenly took a turn, but my family and I were blessed to have spent 15 wonderful years with him.
In the depths of grief, I turned to my design tools as a therapeutic outlet. Late nights filled with memories of Sammy, led to the creation of his memorial – a tribute that captured the spirit of our unbreakable bond. Little did I know, that first design would become the seed for a heartfelt journey.
Our pet memorials were born out of the desire to offer solace and comfort to those who, like me, had experienced the pain of losing a beloved pet. Each design is a labor of love, a personalized piece crafted with the same care and compassion that helped me navigate through my own grief.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is the opportunity to assist other grieving families in honoring the memories of their furry friends. I've had the privilege of connecting with wonderful pet owners and being a part of their healing journey. Your stories inspire me daily, and I am grateful to contribute to the beautiful tapestry of love that exists between pets and their families.
