Hi there! I'm Lori, the heart and soul behind Design & Dandy Co. Let me share a little piece of my story with you. It all began with a profound loss — the departure of my sweet boy, Sammy — an adorable Shih-Poo with a playful spirit, unconditional love, and boundless energy. We lost Sammy unexpectedly when his health suddenly took a turn, but my family and I were blessed to have spent 15 wonderful years with him.
In the depths of grief, I turned to my design tools as a therapeutic outlet. Late nights filled with memories of Sammy, led to the creation of his memorial – a tribute that captured the spirit of our unbreakable bond. Little did I know, that first design would become the seed for a heartfelt journey.
Our pet memorials were born out of the desire to offer solace and comfort to those who, like me, had experienced the pain of losing a beloved pet. Each design is a labor of love, a personalized piece crafted with the same care and compassion that helped me navigate through my own grief.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is the opportunity to assist other grieving families in honoring the memories of their furry friends. I've had the privilege of connecting with wonderful pet owners and being a part of their healing journey. Your stories inspire me daily, and I am grateful to contribute to the beautiful tapestry of love that exists between pets and their families.
