I understand having a vision for an outfit and not being able to find it in stores. Or, wanting a super classy dress with just a touch of whimsy. I am a firm believer that your clothing can make you feel more confident and beautiful if it fits properly and reflects your personality.
Me... I'm an eclectic girl. I equally love designs from the 1920's as much as the 1960's, the 1880's or the 2020's. I could be just as happy at a Steampunk convention or at ComicCon as I would be at NY Fashion Week. It's this quality that makes identifying with many of my brides possible. While I do have designs of my own, I specialize in bringing your ideas into reality. I have years of experience creating wedding gowns, formal gowns, accessories, and even more for my local customers. I'm now offering that to brides all over the world.
When I'm approached by a bride, my entire goal is to be sure that she gets her dream dress, not mine. Along the way I do my best to listen attentively and make suggestions that will compliment her body shape and tastes. Ultimately, she gets the final say, because if our roles were reversed....that's what I'd want.
Your wedding should be as unique as you are. Allow me to bring that same quality to your gown. I do offer designer inspired or custom creations. I will not duplicate other designers work, it's just rude.
Please note that each dress is made on a case by case basis and will vary even from the original listings in my shop as fabrics are chosen at the time of order and pattern is made unique to your measurements. So all finished designs will have variations dress to dress.
All sales are final as each dress is a custom order.

Please feel free to ask any questions regarding policies, shipping, custom options, designs etc. I will respond as quickly as humanly possible, so please be patient with my responses. I will do my best to put your mind at ease.

Due to customers coming on hard times or canceled weddings I can not work on a payment plan.
I have to ask that If I am going to commit myself completely to making your dress for you that you also respectfully fully commit to me. Large amounts of time, heart, energy, and other resources are spent even on day one.
Please do not continue to dress shop after you commit to purchasing a dress from me.
Consults are free, but I require full payment before the construction of your dress begins. The payment is necessary to cover the cost of materials and other supplies, and as such will vary from one item to another. The final cost will be agreed upon before the final purchase is made.
A large portion of the purchase price goes to fabrics, supplies, and pattern making and cannot be refunded.
By purchasing you are agreeing to these terms of sale.
Your gowns will be packaged with great care to insure it's safe arrival to you. All dresses are packed in a plastic dress bag to insure that if someone else's package leaks, your gown is safe.
Shipping on Wedding Gowns includes priority status, including delivery tracking, signature confirmation and insurance.
I will ship most items through the Post Office. If an alternative shipping method is preferred please let me know.
I am not responsible for lost, abandoned or damaged packages. I cannot file claim for you. It is the buyers responsibility to file for insurance claims in order to be compensated for any losses. Those are the Post Office guidelines.
Your item will ship to the address on your Etsy receipt unless otherwise requested.
Changes in shipping address must be formerly submitted in convo for proof of change.
If for some reason your dress or custom item is returned to me there will be one attempt at reshipment but the buyer will be required to issue a payment to cover the additional shipping costs. If there is a second return on the item it will be the buyers responsibility to arrange pick up from a delivery service as a 3rd attempt will not be made.
Refunds and Exchanges
I cannot accept returns on custom made gowns, as they are made custom to your measurements and tastes.
All sales are final.
No refunds, no exchanges, no exceptions.
This is the same arrangement at full service bridal salons.
All ready to ship items are sold as is and are sold on a no exchange no refund basis as well.

Additional Policies and FAQs
~ Clients are expected to be responsible for any alterations or pre-wedding cleanings. I cannot provide alterations services, fittings or in-shop visits. I operate online only. I work out of a personal sewing studio that is not open to the public. I am not a formal boutique, and therefore not able to provide the full salon experience. If you have a fitting problem, i.e. short waist, long torso, relevant to the design of the gown please let me know. I may request additional measurements.
~You will receive a high quality, handmade item created specifically and uniquely for you. I do my absolute best to get you the most for your money in quality materials and I put my heart and soul into every creation.
---------------------------------------------Here's my process--------------------------------------------
~ If you are interested in an already existing design in my shop simply purchase and I will contact you within the day to go over details and specifics for your order.(color, fabric, embellishment, etc.)
~ Your initial contact needs to include a few basic specifics such as dress length, style, colors, if you will be wanting beading, intricate details etc. All information will help me in determining a sufficient price quote. (Reference photos are very helpful and appreciated)
~ I will then contact you to go over details regarding your dress in order to provide a tentative sketch for your design (if necessary). We will also need to go over fabrics, colors, measurements, etc. I am not responsible for mis-communication as this is not an error on my part but on both our parts. I will do my best to asses your likes and dislikes and I need you to be open and honest with me. This is what the design consult is for. Sketches will be made regarding all we've discussed and submitted for your approval. If details are not correct at that time please speak up. My feelings will not be hurt that you don't like my drawing.
~ Normally sketches (if necessary) are provided within two weeks of having settled on a design and all it's details. Fabric Swatches are also provided at this time. This part of the process has a $30 fee as it is costly to purchase such small amounts in a wide variety of fabrics.
~ When you are happy with our design and are ready to purchase a CUSTOM LISTING will be made for you. You must purchase the custom listing and proceed entirely through the checkout before your commitment is complete.
~ I must receive payment before any materials can be purchased or construction can begin.
~ Measurements must be submitted within one week of purchase. Unless of course, you are trying to lose weight or your wedding is a sufficient ways in the future.
~ Photos of yourself; front, back and side view are helpful to get your posture and shape correct when setting up your dress form. I'll be explaining this part of the process further on my blog.
~ Your fabrics and other necessary materials will be ordered within a day or two of your purchase.
~ There is a 2 week period of time needed for fabric and material collection. I ask that you please take into consideration that I need this time to order and RECEIVE your fabrics before I can begin your wedding gown. Without the fabric I can't sew. I do however, use that time to draft your pattern and work on other necessary details.
~ You will not be contacted after your details are confirmed and order is started most likely unless I need input with your design, if I have to change something, or if I have an issue or your order is ready for preview. The less time I spend on the computer, the more time I can spend on your gown. So in this case, no news, is good news.
~ I do try to take photos as I work to keep you up to date on it's progress, but please understand that it is not the case when time is short. Pictures are taken of all finished gowns for my portfolio. Any photos taken of the dress will be provided to you before shipping.
~ You are notified when your dress ships and provided tracking information.
~ All sales are final, no returns are accepted, no refunds are given, no exceptions so please do not ask. If you are not sure about ordering your dress then please take time to decide. I fully commit myself to making these dresses for my clients and expect the same commitment for my time and effort. I cannot take back the money spent on your dress nor the time spent in making it, so please respect my policies and terms.

~ Please submit your wedding date and phone number upon inquiry.

~ Orders may be completed sooner or later than estimated.
~ I normally stay booked several months to a year in advance so please order your dress 6-9 months before your wedding to make sure there is room for delays, setbacks and any alterations or changes you may want to your dress once received.
~ I do understand that sometimes there is no room to allow for 6-9 months of planning as my husband and I planned our wedding in a matter of 3 months. So any bride needing her dress sooner will be considered if it is deemed by me to be possible. Any dresses needed in less than 2 months will not be considered as we cannot produce a dress in this short of time. Rush orders are subject to a higher labor price so please contact me with your wedding date and deadline to see if you would qualify for a work in.
~ I am very mindful of how stressful weddings can be and am very careful not to overbook myself. If I turn you away, it is because it would not be fair to you, me or my other clients to take on more work that I can reasonably handle.
~ If your order has a later wedding date and another order has a sooner wedding date, your order may be moved down the list in order to accommodate a bride who has an earlier wedding. I try to make sure that all brides will receive their orders in an appropriate amount of time. Due to changes in schedules and in case of delays, it is sometimes necessary to move someone up or down the line of completion. But please rest assured that you will receive your dress in plenty of time for your wedding date.
~ Any order that cannot be completed in time will be fully refunded.
