¡Hola! ¡Gracias por tomarte el tiempo de conocerme mejor! Mi nombre es Laura, soy la propietaria y diseñadora de Design Hart Party.
Soy madre de dos niños y vivimos en Sunshine Coast, Australia. Siempre me ha gustado el diseño y todo lo creativo, pero recién cuando tuve hijos me di cuenta de que me apasiona el diseño gráfico. Crear invitaciones para el cumpleaños de mi hija cada año despertó mi interés por el diseño y descubrí que disfrutaba mucho haciendo imprimibles nuevos y diferentes para nuestra familia en cada oportunidad. Un día se me ocurrió que podía poner en práctica mi afición al diseño gráfico y empezar una pequeña empresa... y así nació Design Hart Party. Empezó como algo pequeño en mi tiempo libre, pero al poco tiempo supe que esto era lo que quería hacer a tiempo completo para siempre.
Estoy en Etsy desde 2010 con mi tienda original Design Hart Studio (diseño de logotipos y marca comercial), pero en 2018 decidí que tenía sentido dividirme en tiendas independientes, cada una con un enfoque más específico. Mantuve los diseños de logotipos y paquetes de marca de mi empresa en DH Studio, y trasladé los imprimibles para bodas y fiestas aquí, a Design Hart Party.
Mis dos tiendas están inspiradas en el amor por las flores y los colores pastel suaves. Mis diseños tienen un toque femenino y a menudo transmiten una sensación de primavera o de relajación en una tarde de verano. También me inspiro en el arte abstracto y esto se refleja en los diseños geométricos con toques de color. Además de todo eso, me fascinan las tendencias actuales en acuarelas y fuentes manuscritas vibrantes, por lo que también las utilizo bastante.
Estoy agradecida de ser parte de la comunidad creativa de Etsy. Mi negocio de diseño gráfico me ha dado la flexibilidad que necesitaba para poder trabajar desde casa, rodeada de mis hijos y adaptándome a sus horarios. Me siento muy realizada de tener algo tangible que me pertenece y que construí desde cero, pero lo más satisfactorio de tener mis negocios en Etsy es trabajar con personas que están encaminadas a hacer realidad un sueño, ya sea lanzar un nuevo negocio, organizar una fiesta memorable o planificar una boda. ¡Las reacciones y los comentarios que recibo de mis clientes me motivan para crear más diseños!

Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to get to know me better! My name is Laura; I am the owner and designer behind Design Hart Party.
I'm a mum of two and we live in Sunshine Coast, Australia. I've always loved design and anything creative, but it was only since I had kids that I realised I have a true passion for graphic design! Creating invitations for my daughter's birthday each year piqued my interest in design and I found that I really enjoyed making new and different printables for our family at every opportunity. One day it dawned on me that I could put my graphic design hobby to use and start a small business...and so Design Hart Party came into being. It began as a small thing in my spare time, but before long I knew that this was what I wanted to do full-time forever!
I have been on Etsy since 2010 with my original shop Design Hart Studio (logo design & business branding), but in 2018 I decided it made sense to split off into separate shops, each with a more specific focus. I kept my business logo designs and branding packages in DH Studio, and moved the wedding and party printables here to Design Hart Party.
Both of my shops are inspired by a love of florals and soft, pastel colours. My designs have a feminine edge and often have a feeling of springtime or the chilled out vibe of a summer evening. I also get inspired by abstract art and this is reflected in geometric designs with splashes of colour. On top of all of that, I'm fascinated with the current trends for watercolours and vibrant handwriting fonts, so I use those quite a bit too.
I'm grateful to be part of the Etsy creative community. My graphic design business has given me the flexibility I needed to be able to work from home, surrounded by my kids and flowing around their schedules. I feel very fulfilled to have something tangible that belongs to me and that I built from the ground up, but the most satisfying thing about having my Etsy businesses is working with people who are setting out towards a dream - whether that is to launch a new business, to put on a memorable party or to plan a wedding! The reactions and feedback I get from my customers keeps me fired up to create more designs!
