**How It All Started**

A birth announcement caught my eye one day and I shared it with my friend. Creative juices started flowing between us and we collaborated on a unique design - a piece of art that told the story of her first born's arrival into this world. Since that first step, we have been honored with creating all types of unique designs that share important life stories! The "birth" of design | molloy was with our flagship birth story but we continue to branch out with new designs .... so stay tuned!

Colette is a professional Graphic Designer and Photographer, while Debbie is a Pharmacist (who likes to use the right side of her brain too!) Together we make a dynamic duo and provide you with the best of creativity, professionalism and customer service. We have been friends for over a decade and despite living in separate cities, we work extremely well together and cherish the ability to collaborate.

We are passionate about our creations and strive to do our very best to exceed your expectations. Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

► In the unlikely event that your print is damaged upon arrival, we require a photograph of the original packaging and the print to demonstrate the condition it arrived to you in. We will help you out on a case-by-case basis should this occur to you. Please contact us directly as soon as possible.

► If you purchased a design from us that is NOT customized, you are eligible to return it to us if it is in original condition. You must contact us within 14 days of receiving the print and reship to us within 30 days of delivery. The cost of return shipping is your responsibility. We will refund your order upon receipt of the returned item.
► It is very important that your verify the shipping address upon check-out. If you provide an incorrect mailing address to us and we have already shipped out your print, you will be responsible for any additional charges should you choose to have the print mailed to you again at a different address.

► Please understand that the postal system is not within our control. We do our very best to provide you with estimates for delivery; however, occasionally things do not go accordingly to plan. Please inquire with us regarding upgrading your shipping if you want the package to be tracked. Without tracking, we simply can not tell you where your package is and can only go by the estimates provided by the postal system.

► In the very rare instance that your package has not been delivered at all, we will reship at no cost to you AFTER A FULL SIX (6) WEEKS has elapsed from the date of original shipment. Only then will we provide a replacement. There may be some instances where we are able to provide you with a print file of your design. Some clients prefer to have this instead of the print being reshipped. Please contact us.

► We ship your design flat in a sturdy envelope. The outside of the envelope is marked with "Do not Bend" stamps. Your print arrives to you in a cello-wrap to protect it from damage.

► If you require a print by a certain date, please allow ample time for delivery based on the guidelines below or inquire about the possibility of a digital file to print yourself.

PRINT SIZES: 5x7", 8x10" or 8.5 x 11"
► These print sizes DO NOT come standard with a tracking number. If you want to upgrade to include tracking, please inquire.
► Delivery time varies depending on your location and are estimates only. Within Canada: 3 to 5 business days. To the United States: 7 to 21 business days. All Other International Destinations: 7 to 21 business days.

PRINT SIZE: 11x14"
► For Canadian Customers: includes a tracking number. Estimated delivery time varies depending on your location. 3 to 10 business days.
► For American Customers: does not include a tracking number. Estimated delivery time is 7 to 21 business days. Upgrading to include tracking is available at time of check out.
► For All Other International Customers: does not include a tracking number. Estimated delivery time is 7 to 21 business days. If you want to upgrade your shipping to include tracking, please inquire for an estimate.... be warned it is ridiculously expense to add tracking with Canada Post (Sorry!).
Additional policies and FAQs
► For customized orders, we provide a digital proof to you through the Etsy convo system. The proof is water marked.

► If we do not receive a response from you, we may attempt to reach you via email with the email address you have on file with Etsy.

► Two rounds of revisions are included with each proof. Further revisions may be subject to additional charges and will be discussed with you before more work is completed.

► Once the proof provided is approved by you, we will print your design on high quality photo matte paper (without our watermark) and place it into the postal system within 1 to 2 business days. If you ordered a digital file, the finalized print files will be emailed to you within 1 to 2 business days.

► At the time of purchase, please include all the information we requested you to provide to us in the listing descriptions (e.g. colour preferences, names to customize the print, etc...) so that we may process your order as soon as possible.

► If a buyer does not provide the required information or return any communications to us within 30 days of placing the order, we reserve the right to cancel your order.

Frequently asked questions
Will my print arrive with design molloy printed on it?

No, we use our watermark on the display images only. Your print will not have our design | molloy marking on the front.

Note: the Flag Word Art pieces have our logo built into the designs.

Your print will have a small stamp on the BACK with our logo.

Why do the colours on the digital proof look different than the print I received in the mail?

Computers, phones & other devices display colours differently and some colour variation between display and actual print is to be expected.

What is the quality of the paper / print / poster that I will receive?

We print professionally, in-house on 45 lbs high quality photo matte paper. Your design will be cut to the size requested with a minimum 0.5 inch margin to allow for frame variance. You may need to trim the print you receive very slightly to fit perfectly into your specific frame.

Please read through our shop reviews if you are concerned regarding quality of the product you will receive.

If for any reason your design is to be printed externally, we will inform you of this ahead of time. We select only the highest quality print shops to work with.

Sizing details

These are the common print sizes we provide: 5x7", 8x10", 8.5x11", 11x14" or 12x18".

For larger poster sizes, we can provide you a quote based on our external printer rates and estimate shipping charges.

We are happy to accommodate you in any way we can. For example, we are happy to resize to A3, A4, etc...

Will it cost me extra to make changes to the design?

Excellent customer service is an integral part of who we are, which is why we provide up to two additional edits after the first proof, at no charge to you for our customizable designs.

Further work requested beyond these complimentary edits may be subject to fees. No further work would be completed until we provided a quote to you and you accepted and paid in full.

To date, we have been able to service customers within their allotted revisions, thus have not required additional charges for editing.

If you are interested in customizing one of our ready-to-ship designs, please inquire as this may be possible with a small fee.


At this time, we do not offer mattes or frames through our Etsy Shop. Our prints come ready for you to place into a frame of your choice. The frames shown in the listing pictures are for display purposes only.

We Design - You Print

Some of our listings are for digital products only and are labeled with a banner that reads "We Design You Print". For these listings, you will not receive a physical print in the mail. You are purchasing a customized digital file that you will coordinate printing for yourself.

You will receive a DIGITAL PROOF prior to your final print files. We will only finalize the order after you have approved the design.

You will receive two print ready file types - high resolution JPEG (no crop markings) and high resolution PDF (with crop markings for trimming).

What is the standard process for the design proofing and printing stages?

UNLESS THE LISTING STATES OTHERWISE, this is our standard processing time.

For customized designs, we provide a digital proof for you to review within 1 to 2 business days (usually sooner). The listing fee includes up to two rounds of revisions. Once the design is approved, we print and deposit into postal system within 1 to 2 business days.

"As per listing image" designs print & are placed into postal system within 2 business days.
