This was such a great purchase! Kaytie from Design Theory was so helpful in giving feedback as to what color combinations would work. I wanted something more along the lines of a peacock, it was fantastic! I will definitely be ordering another custom piece in the future!
Don't underestimate the power of serendipity.
Everything truly happens for a reason. Sometimes it just takes a little creative push to get things rolling.
I began designing and making jewelry purely by chance, and quite unexpectedly. In fact, the design of my polymer clay spike necklaces was the result of a 'happy accident.' While attempting to create a round bead, I opened my hands and discovered, to my chagrin, the complete opposite: a spike. My disappointment was short-lived -- I took advantage of the moment, and decided to embrace the spike. It's now the basis of many of my designs, my signature element. What I'm best known for.
I love to mix things up - metal and clay, new and vintage, delicate and edgy. Searching out unique vintage beads for my designs is a passion, something that I feel make my designs truly singular. One of a kind.
I believe my personal trajectory strongly informs everything that I design. Former visual artist and chef. Currently, curator of contemporary art and writer. Designing jewelry is just the most recent incarnation of my insatiable desire to create. Every single day.
I'm so glad you stopped by to read a little bit about me, and hope you'll enjoy browsing in my Etsy shop. Please come by often!!

Additional policies and FAQs
Each object I make is one-of-a-kind - so I'm unable to create another exactly like it. If an item you love has been sold, let me know - I might be able to work with you on a similar design. If you're interested in a custom order, just convo me - I can't promise that I'll be able to accommodate your request, but will thoughtfully consider it!
RESERVING AN ITEM
I will hold an item on reserve for up to 5 days. If the item has not been purchased within that time frame, it will be relisted.
Because most of my designs are one-of-a-kind, and incredibly labor-intensive to produce, I'm unable to sell in bulk, and cannot offer any bulk rate discounts.
