Most of our shoes fit true to size, but to be sure, we do offer The Perfect Fit program. Through this program, brides may try on the blank shoe to make sure it fits before we do the custom work. To learn more, click on our "Perfect Fit" listing in the Shop.

Our custom items are often elaborate designs, and much like your wedding dress, they are intended to make their debut on your wedding day. When you are not wearing them for fittings or portraits, we recommend storing them in a cool, dry place. As with all dyeable satin you should take care not to get them wet. Dyeable satin is not colorfast. With dark dye colors (such as blue, purple and red) you may experience some “rub” when you first wear the shoes. This is normal and will rinse off with some soap and water. You may request a water resistant coating to be added to your shoes.

Due to the custom nature of my items and the amount of time and labor involved in each design, we're not able to accept cancellations, returns or exchanges.

To assist brides in getting their dream wedding shoes, we do offer The Perfect Fit program to assure proper sizing, as well as sketches of the shoes that help brides visualize their design. We're also able to send out swatches and other materials. And, we send photos of the shoes as they progress through the design process (for new designs only). We have found over the years that this process works very well.

Please be sure to let us know of any issues with your custom wedding shoes or accessories within ten (10) days of receipt so that we may address them.

We have found that brides in the some international destinations are required to pay duties to release the shoes from customs. We do consider this a buyer responsibility.

We’ve found that bridal salons struggle to carry any sort of inventory when it comes to custom shoes and so we do not work on a wholesale basis. We have an in-house artist that is able to create a sketch of your wedding shoe design with all of the details. Sketches can be purchased before the custom work is done to the shoes to help brides visualize their creation.

We ship via USPS Priority Mail (Domestic) and UPS Mail Innovations (International) with delivery confirmation. Our standard shipping rates do not include insurance against lost packages. If you would like the shoes to ship by some other method, you must request that before the order is placed. If you would like insurance, you must purchase it at check out. Unless insurance is purchased, we cannot be responsible for packages lost in the post.

To create our custom wedding shoes, we use a variety of stock bridal shoe styles, including shoes made by Paradox London, Benjamin Walk and Christy NG as well as some shoes we have manufactured for Ellie Wren exclusively. If you have any questions about the base shoes used in your design, please be sure to ask us before you place your order.

Your shoes may take 4-8 weeks to complete from the date of order. Less complicated designs will take closer to 4-6 weeks and more complicated designs will take between 6-8. Rush production is $25 for shoes $200 and under and $50 for shoes over $201.
