5 out of 5 starsMy ornament is PERFECT! I cannot wait to put it on my tree for the 2021 year and reflect on where we were with a growing bump during Christmas 2020. Communication with Kelsey was amazing. I had messaged her inquiring about her pieces, and she let me know that she was doing another release of ornaments but they were going to be delivered after Christmas. I was a little bummed, but still wanted to order because as a creative myself, I TOTALLY understand the time and detail she puts into these. She sent me a picture before mailing, and I’m not sure if it was Kelseys beautiful work or the hormones but I cried. Upon opening the ornament, I cried again - thanks Kelsey. I was super impressed at the quality of the wood. It’s not a flakey cheap birch piece. This thing is sturdy and thick!

It was a gift for my aunt who recently lost her husband, my uncle. She cried when she received it. Thank you for painting this with love.

Frequently asked questions
I want a custom ornament! How does this work?
- Place your order via the product listing.
- Once your order is placed, you need to send me a reference photo for whoever is on the ornament as well as the family name for the ornament. Reference photos and name information should be sent via Etsy message within two weeks of placing your order.
- All ornaments will have the year “2020” on them unless specifically requested otherwise by the buyer.
- PLEASE NOTE: If I do not receive a reference photo, your ornament cannot (and will not) be painted.
What do you need / look for in a reference photo? How quickly do you need my reference photos?
Ideal reference photos show height differences, hair styles, facial hair, and skin tones. Animal photos should include tails and distinctive markings. If you have custom requests that aren't visible in a photo (for example - please put a beard on my husband even though he doesn't have one in the photo I provided), make sure you include it in your message. :)
I need your reference photos within two weeks!
I don't have any reference photos of the family I want painted. What do I do?
Unfortunately, I require reference photos for all ornament orders. Without a reference photo, I cannot complete your order.
Your ornaments are sold out. When is your next restock?
On the first of each month at 8:00 PM EST, I will release a limited quantity of custom ornaments for order. Once they’re sold out, they are gone until the first of the next month.
Once ornaments are sold out, you can sign up for waitlist alerts on each ornament listing. (Etsy won’t allow me to display sold out listings on my shop page, but you can use the link listings below to sign up for waitlist alerts.)

What is your processing/shipping time? Will my ornament arrive in time for Christmas?
All processing and shipping times are located on each individual product listing as well as at checkout.
For Christmas orders to be shipped by 12/18, they need to be ordered by November 6.
I see you offer house backgrounds. Do you offer other types of background options?
It depends. :) Message me!
Oh no! I need to change my address. Can I ship to a different address than what's on my order?
Please send me an Etsy message with your change in address. I can't guarantee your ornament will ship to the new address, but I will do my very best to accommodate the request.
Do you ever offer sales on your ornaments? Do you offer discounts if I order more than one ornament?
No, I do not offer sales on ornaments. Orders over $35.00 ship free. Discounts are available for orders containing 10 or more ornaments.
Do you seal the ornaments?
Nope. You're welcome to if you'd like once you receive it. :)
Do you offer warranties or replacements on the ornaments?
I do not offer any warranties or replacements on the ornaments. Ornaments are painted on real wood and should be handled with care. I cannot control knots, cracks, fractures, textures, or other imperfections in the wood. I am more than happy to re-make your ornament for you if it is damaged, but a new order will need to be placed and processed.
