Welcome to my shop!
Sewing and designing have been my lifelong passion starting when I was just barely tall enough to peek over my mother's shoulder as she lovingly designed and created dresses, coats, suits and doll clothes for me and my sister. She was an accomplished seamtress long before machines sewed anything but a straight line. I learned from the best and have come to love the art and the challenge of incorporating the new sewing technology of today.
Since my daughter has outgrown ruffles and frills, my granddaughters are now my inspirations for design and the craft; and I decided to share some of my love for the art here in my Etsy shop. All my creations are one-of-a-kind and are designed and made by me and/or embellished by me.
Above is a peek of the sewing room my husband lovingly designed and built just for me. I know...I'm quite the lucky girl. This Happy Room is where I spend a good part of most days happily lost for hours on end. Some of favorite sewing buddies keep me company including my Brother six-needle embroidery machine, my BabyLock serger/coverstitch machine and my old-timer favorite Bernina sewing machine.
I am obsessed with details including prewashing fabrics, professionally finishing seams and using quality fabric and threads. All my embroidery and appliqué designs are stitched on my six-needle machine for the most professional embroidery stitches ever. I want the designs you love and purchase to endure indefinite washings and all the trials your little ones can dole out.
