La nostra storia non è poi così unica.
Condivide molte somiglianze con altre piccole imprese; a partire da un hobby, una passione e un'abilità che si sviluppa vengono condivise e offerte agli altri.
Designs In The Making va come segue:
1. Volevo fare a un amico un regalo che fosse qualcosa di personale e veramente adatto a loro. Si erano trasferiti in un posto nuovo e volevano decorare le loro pareti con cose che avessero un significato per loro.
2. Essendo creativo ho progettato qualcosa, l'ho stampato, incorniciato e dato a loro.
3. Naturalmente essendo orgoglioso di ciò che ho fatto, ho mostrato il mio design ad amici e familiari.
4. Con ciò hanno iniziato a chiedere il proprio per se stessi o per dare agli altri.
5. Perché non creare un negozio Etsy?
È qui che credo che inizi la nostra vera storia.
Come creativo, sono una persona a cui piace organizzare e prepararsi eccessivamente, cercando di assicurarsi che qualcosa sia perfetto prima di condividere il mio lavoro, ritardando inevitabilmente il più a lungo possibile. Forse è per questo che ho prosperato con il lavoro universitario perché avevo una scadenza.
È qui che ho inventato 'Designs In The Making'.
Voglio sempre creare di più e sviluppare il mio negozio.
Nessuna pressione per avere un'intera collezione di disegni da elencare su Etsy per andare in diretta.
Non c'è bisogno di un logo, un banner e un marchio finalizzati che devo scegliere ora e deve essere così per sempre.
Invece, lascia che sia un lavoro in corso.
Espandi e sviluppa man mano che le mie abilità lo fanno.
Evolvi e aggiungi nuovi design come e quando arrivano le idee e le ispirazioni.
Quindi, benvenuto a Designs In The Making e guarda il suo viaggio iniziare.
Our story is not that unique.
It shares many similarities with other small businesses; starting with a hobby, a passion and skill that develops gets shared and offered to others.
Designs In The Making goes as follows:
1. I wanted to give a friend a gift that was something personal and truly fitting to them. They had moved into a new place and wanted to decorate their walls with things that had meaning to them.
2. Being creative I designed something, printed it out, framed it and gave it to them.
3. Naturally being proud of what I made, I showed my design to friends and family.
4. With that they began asking for their own for either themselves or to give to others.
5. Why not set up an Etsy store?
This is where I believe our true story begins though.
As creative, I am someone who likes to overly organise and prepare, trying to make sure something is perfect before I share my work, inevitably delaying for as long as possible. Perhaps that’s why I thrived with university work because I had a deadline.
This is where I came up with ‘Designs In The Making’.
I want to always be creating more and developing my store.
No pressure to have a whole collection of designs to list on Etsy in order to go live.
No need for a finalised logo, banner and branding that I must choose now and it has to be that forever.
Instead, let it be a work in progress.
Expand and develop as my skills do so.
Evolve and add new designs as and when the ideas and inspirations come.
