Announcement   I owned a bead shop called The Bead Tree on 9th Street in Durham NC. I started my official bead collecting then. But, my obsession began with my baby bracelet from the hospital, don't you just love those glass alphabet beads? I have been collecting since I was a wee one. I have created an incredible family of beads. I do not have plastic or man-made beads in my collection. Each bead is from the Earth or the Sea. I feel like each bead has a story to tell and each of my handmade jewelry pieces feature some of my most beautiful beads. Each bead has a story and as a group, there are many tales to be told.

I am selling handcrafted OOAK one-of-a-kind designs. My passions include beads from all cultures, hand folded Origami and watercolor treasures. My bead collection features beads with a history like the African Trade beads and the Venetian Millefiori. I am deeply interested in the impact of beads upon the wearer. Does the person wearing rose quartz really have a better chance of finding romance? Do crystals enhance your health? Do "eye" beads protect you from evil? Does the evil-doer see the beaded "eyes" around your neck and move on.
