My name is Jennifer - but you can call me Zal. I'm a self employed graphic designer. I have been in the design industry since 2012. I am an alumni of Troy University. Go Trojans! I received my Bachelor in Design, Technology & Industry. I specialize in print and digital designs of all varieties. I collaborate with my clients to ensure every order is impeccable from our first contact till your order is delivered to you.

Many companies & vendors these days have a big problem. They focus on getting all business versus exclusive. Handmade, no way; unless you want to overpay. Over the years I have learned how wonderful the word "handmade" can be. "Handmade" is what makes an event or occasion memorable. This is what makes a lasting impression.
After being a bridesmaid & a recent newlywed, I decided to jump start my custom design business into a fully operated print shop. I thought,"How great would it be to offer brides, businesses and varieties of different people my unique ideas and fresh design style?"...without the hassle. Why not even handle the printing/assembly for them too! Planning any event is a hassle. Having a professional on your side is what helps.
Nobody wants to talk to a robot, overpay or get ripped off. Customer service is what sparks me to purchase from a business. Many companies are beginning to forget how important this service actually is. I want my customers to feel appreciated and comfortable from start to finish about their project. Every order is personalized to each client's details. I strive to give quality service in all aspects of my business.
Through time and custom orders, my customers helped my creativity ignite with their great ideas and custom projects they contacted me with. Please Note: It is your responsibility to review your proof for spelling or check your color selections due to monitor calibrations. Please ensure all details are correct before finalizing your proof for press. Once proofs are finalized, no changes can be made to accommodate fast processing times.
Orders are shipped to your mailing address on file with Etsy. No refunds or discounts will be made due to delivery delays due to weather, mishandling by the carrier, undeliverable addresses, or incorrect contact information for all shipments. If you have a specific deadline you need to make, please contact me before checkout so we can accommodate your request.
If a proof is requested, please be sure your contact method is up-to-date via Etsy (email). Processing times will not begin until your proof is approved. Processing times are based on proof approval date. Your delivery times rely on your response times so be sure to keep an eye out for your proofs to avoid delays. All orders are shipped to your mailing address on file. If this is incorrect, please contact me before your order has shipped.
Due to the nature of products being handmade & approved before printing, my refund policy is All Sales Final. If you item has been damaged due to your shipping provider, please contact me via email with photos of your damage/package so I can file a claim on your behalf: jenniferzalzal [!at] gmail.com.

All item listings have been updated to accommodate standard USPS pricing. I strive to give you the most cost efficient price. Keep in mind the default shipping method on most listings is not insured. DesignsbyZal is not responsible for delivery delays due to weather, mishandling by the carrier, undeliverable addresses, or incorrect contact information for all shipments including Priority and Express shipping options. Undeliverable addresses include: incorrect/insufficient address, missing P.O. box numbers, refused, or return to sender. DesignsbyZal is not liable for any stolen, lost, or damaged packages; and any return packages due to incomplete addresses, undeliverable addresses, or return to sender.

Shipping quotes do not include any import or duty fees, you are responsible for those additional fees (which vary from country to country). If you do not pick-up your package for any reason and it is returned to my shop, no refunds can be made. All delivery times are estimates only. For international orders, estimated delivery time does not include customs processing time. Processing and delivery times may vary during promotion and holiday periods. Risk of loss, damage and delays for merchandise shipped internationally will pass to you upon our delivery to USPS. Damaged items delivered through international shipping methods will not be replaced or refunded.
DesignsByZal is not responsible for any shipping delays, damage or lost/stolen packages due to customs, which may take up to an additional 6 weeks or more. Please look into the customs and import policies of your country before placing your order. I recommend international customers order as much in advance as possible!

Custom and personalized orders
A free estimate is always sent before you get a bill! Simply send me all your details, outlining your project needs, so I can quote your project (qty/stock/details/custom options/etc...). Once you have approved your estimate and details, your custom listing will be built for you to purchase. Proofs are sent within 48 hours of checkout. (2) revisions are including with all personalized orders. Print production will not begin until approval is made. Processing times begin once proof approval is confirmed.
Can you create designs for events other than weddings?
Absolutely! Parties, anniversaries, baby showers...you name it! I love anything event oriented and love to dive into new projects. No matter what kind of event or party, I am ready to collaborate with you on your project.
Will I receive a proof before you start printing?
Yes! Most of my listings have the option to have your proof sent via Etsy or email. If email is selected, please confirm your email address is correct via Etsy. No proof will speed up your delivery times but I always recommend to proof your design!
You will receive a digital proof within 48 hours of your purchase. Proofs must be approved before print production is started. (2) revisions are included.
Gift wrapping and packaging
All orders are beautifully packaged to give you the handmade experience along with safe shipping and handling. Complementary shop gift bags are included with each purchase because who doesn't love discounts/freebies?
