Announcement   I love all things old, but there's something about campaign style furniture that feels so right. It's simple lines that have been cleverly designed to fold and travel easily give these pieces a breezy, casual feel. Yet the materials; wood, canvas, leather, and brass, give them a serious almost formal look.

I've rescued as many suitcases and trunks (and other cool, old things) from thrift stores, flea markets, and yard sales as I could and upcycled them into something new.

Hope you like my stuff, and thanks for looking.

Remember,.....Vintage is not a style; it's a place. You can go there.
And when you do, it always feels like home.

Very quality workmanship, shipped on time, packed very well. I would buy this piece again and highly recommend it.

About

My Retirement Job...Sort Of

Once, when the lottery jackpot was up in the hundreds of millions, I bought a ticket and spent the day thinking about what I would do with all that money if I won. I'd heard all those horror stories about how the winners end up broke a few years later, so I figured I'd have to do something that I enjoy that doesn't cost a lot of money. I love the idea of upcycling and repurposing stuff from yard sales, thrift stores, and road side cast-offs and always imagined that it would be the way I spend my retirement.

I didn't win. (again!)

Why wait to retire before you do the things you love?
