Hello. We are primarily focused on vintage handmade rugs & textiles from Iran, Turkey, and Caucasus. Most of these are village, tribal & nomadic pieces that exhibit the charm, craft, and beauty of traditional textile creation.

Our philosophy is to communicate and openly share as much information as we can about these traditional art forms with like-minded people. Questions, observations, and exchanges are welcomed. We hope to hear from you whether you want to possibly purchase an item or just want to open a discussion. Thank you!

Rugs are generally heavy. On the plus side, they are almost impossible to damage by rough handling. Short of fire, hurricane & deluge, they almost always reach their destinations safely and in great condition.

On the negative side--due to weight and size--rugs can be expensive to ship even here in the U.S. Generally, I use FedEx for shipping although the U.S. postal service and UPS are occasional options.

As for international shipping, I don't usually list foreign destinations because of the expense. However, any rug can potentially be exported internationally. Please inquire if you are a potential buyer outside of the U.S. Thank you.
Refunds and Exchanges
Certainly, we would offer a full refund if an item were destroyed or damaged during shipping.

Returning an item is an option if the buyer is willing to pay shipping both ways. We almost always lose money on shipping (it costs more than we charge) so we cannot afford to pay the shipping either way on returned items.

Also, we are happy to provide additional photographs and information on items BEFORE purchase so we can avoid disappointment and unnecessary returns. Thank you.
Additional policies and FAQs
If you have a concern or question, please feel free to contact us. We prefer to communicate directly with each individual rather than post absolute or arbitrary rules & policies. Everything reasonable is open to discussion & negotiation.
