Origin Story

Devour Your Head began as two friends passing time by crocheting hat-creatures. Elise [Switch] Leutwyler and Rebecca Miller eventually found themselves with too many hats to handle, and began selling those hats in customizable pieces at local art fairs in Phoenix, AZ.

Since then, Elise has continued growing the business to include toys as well as hats and now Devour Your Head products can be found in multiple Arizona stores. Devour Your Head now strives to inspire the whimsical side of people of all ages. The business will continue to evolve with one goal always in mind: everyone should make time in their lives to play.

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns
Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery
I don't accept exchanges or cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
If your item arrives damaged or not as described, contact us within 10 business days (M-F) of receiving the item and we will gladly replace it. There may be a waiting period of 10-14 days if materials needed to create new item(s) that are not in stock. Please note that you will have 14 days from the date your package is delivered to qualify for a refund. Products must be returned before replacement is shipped.

Shipping cost is non-refundable, unless the item was shipped in error.

Please ship returns with tracking, we are not responsible for packages lost by shipping carriers.

Any worn, soiled, altered, or customer damaged items will be shipped back to you at your cost and no refund issued. After two weeks if you cannot be reached with your provided contact information your ineligible item will be destroyed or altered to a sellable state.
