About DianeZevosDiZigns

Let DiZigns embellish and decorate your life or your loved one's with artistic and creative keepsakes.

I started Diane Zevos DiZigns when, in 2010 I had the idea to decorate a loved ones cemetery stone with a beautiful garland that would rest on the base. The concept seemed new, I did not see any decorated stones with that idea and so I started Gravestone Garlands by DiZigns. The idea, though so special and heartfelt to me, was not very popular. Shortly after that, I used my flower shop experience and during the Christmas Holidays, I made arrangements, kissing balls, boxwood trees, and log baskets out of real evergreens. I love the variety or colors, forms, needles/leaves and the addition of other decorative elements to complete it. My husband and I love working with wood, so it was only natural to make our own log baskets and also I had another idea to make keepsake wooden hearts with inlays (which I wanted to learn) and that was the beginning of my keepsake hearts, my signature heart being purple heart wood heart with golden mother-of-pearl heart inlay. I have expanded my design to include other inlays and in the future I plan on many more. In 2014, I started making drawstring bags form recycled, unused designer fabric and I just loved it! I choose the fabrics with an artistic eye and they are really exquisite. The items I make and sell may seem so different, but have come to me in a sequence of events that really was logical in my life and each one makes me excited to share and continue crafting.
