From Survival Mode to Thriving
I’m a licensed clinical therapist with over 15 years of experience working in inpatient, outpatient, and private practice settings. As a therapist and author, I created Dignity Dream to provide guided journals and tools designed to help you move out of survival mode and into healing, self-discovery, and growth. Not only as a therapist, but as a person, my true passion is helping individuals break free from survival mode whether shaped by trauma, difficult relationships, or diminished self-worth and begin creating a life that feels grounded, meaningful, and no longer defined by struggle, heartbreak, or mental health challenges.
For many, this is where it begins.
Where Do I Go From Here?
Do you ever find yourself constantly on the go,
juggling countless tasks,
feeling like you’re perpetually running on empty,
yet still pushing forward?
Do you find yourself performing daily routines without truly
experiencing them?
Are you stuck in a revolving door of unsatisfying
friendships, and/or romantic relationships?
Maybe you find yourself constantly giving more than you’re receiving?
Perhaps you’ve been burning the candle at both ends, and now you find yourself standing in the dim light of exhaustion and hopelessness, feeling that things will never change.
If so ..... I’m here to tell you ….. You’re not alone in this realization.
Much like the rest of us, there’s a chance you’re trapped in a life of SURVIVAL MODE ...... living day to day on auto pilot, going through the same motions, day in and day out, without experiencing any true happiness, fulfillment, or joy.
Maybe you might recognize the need for a shift but are struggling to simply make it happen. Maybe you’re at a loss for where to even begin.
If so, it’s time to recognize that feeling, to turn off the auto pilot, and truly start living. You’re here, holding this journal, because you feel a stirring inside you - a voice whispering to you, that says something needs to change. This journal isn’t just about jotting down your thoughts; it’s about exploring your inner world, discovering your strengths, and learning to say "yes" to self-care.
It’s about your journey.
A journey of not just a life of mere survival,
but a life of happiness and fulfillment.
And so, we begin. Here’s to the journey ahead.
This work is also reflected in my book Breaking Free, created to help guide individuals out of survival mode and into a life of healing and growth.
