Here's my story: I started out of my garage around 1971, and from there I grew into several shops where I locally sold for the next 30 years, and eventually had customers traveling from out of town, throughout central Texas, and even further away just to purchase ceramic art, equipment, and supplies. I also do many other crafts that are not ceramic-involved, but the bulk of my work is ceramic. I have molds from the early 70's! Molds one cannot find anymore. I think one of the most interesting aspects of these older molds are the ashtray molds (oh they were *the* ceramic item to have!). I still have many 1970's ashtray molds, and of course, they can be used for anything now! I had a customer tell me once she would be willing to contact the Smithsonian Institute in order to catalog my inventory!
