Handmade with love from upcycled materials!
Desde que era una niña, mis padres me enseñaron a reciclar y reutilizar todo lo posible. Este es el enfoque que he estado usando en mi vida desde entonces.
Este es el enfoque que también estoy utilizando para mi tienda.
Todos los posavasos están hechos de azulejos viejos dejados en garajes, cobertizos, loft, y algunos incluso junto a los contenedores. Tomo esas baldosas y les doy una nueva vida, una vida creativa lejos de los vertederos.
Cada paso del proceso se realiza a mano. Las baldosas se limpian y se cortan a mano a medida. Los bordes afilados se lijan para que no haya riesgo de lastimarse.
Las imágenes se transfieren a los azulejos y luego se lacan.
Una vez que se secan, el corcho se corta a mano a medida y se adhiere a la parte inferior de la baldosa para proteger sus muebles.

Los sobres están hechos de papel reciclado y las cajas utilizadas son en las que recibí mis propios pedidos. Los artículos más pequeños están empaquetados en cajas de almohadas que hice con mapas antiguos.
Uso plástico de burbujas para asegurar sus posavasos PERO es plástico de burbujas sobrante de mudarse de casa o uno que obtuve con mis pedidos de Internet.

Ever since I was a little girl, my parents taught me to recycle and reuse whatever possible. This is the approach I have been using in my life ever since.
This is the approach I am also using for my shop.
All the coasters are made from old tiles left in garages, sheds, loft, and some even by the bins. I take those tiles and give them a new life, a creative life away from landfills.
Every step of the process is done by hand. The tiles are cleaned and hand-cut to size. The sharp edges are sanded down so there is no risk of hurting yourself.
The images are transferred to the tiles and then lacquered.
Once they dry off, the cork is hand-cut to size and attached to the bottom of the tile to protect your furniture.

Envelopes are made from recycled paper and any boxes used are the ones I got my own orders in. Smaller items are packaged in pillow boxes I made out of old maps.
I do use bubble wrap to secure your coasters BUT it is bubble wrap left over from moving house or one I got with my Internet orders.
