Welcome to Distinct Headwear's Etsy Shop.
Selling on Etsy since 2017, we do not sell any premade caps and we don't ship from overseas (all hats ship from Tennessee). All caps are embroidered from scratch, in-house and we do not use print on demand companies. We design, sew and ship each hat ourselves.
The majority of our cap bases are designed and manufactured by us. No other company has them. We use commercial grade embroidery machines, not hobby level sewing machines, and we do not sell low quality vinyl, glued on patches, or screen printed/sublimated hats.
Your hat will be packed with care in an environmentally friendly box so that it arrives in perfect condition. We do not ship in bags, so your hat is fully protected during transit.
While we are often imitated, we are never replicated.

Colors, Customization Options, Listing Help
We do our best to represent the true colors of our materials. Please keep in mind, monitors and screens, the amount of light in a room or area, may alter the appearance of a listing on both the cap and the thread.
Hue/color/darkness and levels of distressing can vary from cap to cap.
Customer review photos tend to have a large amount of variance due to photo technique, use of flash, photos taken inside often at night with low light, use of filters etc.
If you need help selecting colors or help with a listing in general, please send us an Etsy message before purchase and we will be glad to assist you.
We normally respond to any inquiries in less than two hours during normal business hours.

We take great care and time when creating a listing.
Please make sure to read the listing in its entirety before purchasing. If you have questions, please message us before purchase so we can assist.
Our standard response time is normally less than two hours, and we are always glad to help.
How Long Will It Take To Receive My Order
PRODUCTION TIME
This is the time needed to sew your cap and doesn't include shipping time.
If you have a deadline, you need to meet, please let us know before ordering, so we can assist.
We cannot honor notes left at checkout or messages asking for an order ASAP or by a certain date.
SHIPPING TIME
Shipping time varies and cannot be guaranteed unless you purchased Priority Express shipping.
Priority Express IS guaranteed by USPS. If the post office misses the delivery estimate shown at checkout, they refund most of the shipping cost; we assist with this process.
We can't be responsible for incorrect addresses or stolen packages.
If you need an address changed after an order has been placed, please contact us immediately through Etsy.
Returns/Exchanges
Every hat is created from scratch with customization options chosen by customer and therefore they are not eligible for return or exchange.
We want every customer to have the peace of mind that their hat was made just for them, as advertised, and that we are not reselling other customers tried on/used hats.
We also do not take hat returns for hygienic reasons as many of our customers have allergies to pets, scents, lotions, fragrances, etc.
If there is a problem with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt so we can help.
What Constitutes Buyer's Remorse
Purchasing an item by mistake, choosing a color combination that you didn't intend to select or deciding that you don't like, want or need the item/s as chosen.
The item not matching an item previously purchased by you are someone else or an item purchased from another company.
Not liking the fit or construction and/or colors or entering the wrong customization/personalization information.
If you need help with colors or design, please contact us before purchase so we can offer assistance.
If you have already received your item/s, please contact us so we can help with your concern.
Notes Left at Checkout/Messages after Checkout
We cannot honor requests/notes/messages to provide changes that are not part of the listing purchased or that were not agreed upon before purchase.
Please make sure to contact us before purchase for any changes/additional work.
International Orders
International shipments take longer to arrive than orders shipped inside the US. Please allow for extra travel time, especially during the Christmas season.
All taxes, fees, etc as the result of shipping outside the US are the customer's responsibility. Etsy does not include any VAT, etc.
Our normal return policy applies to international order.
