Cada pieza está hecha a mano; la mayoría de los diseños son únicos.

Distinct Impressions was created to capture, design, and infuse nature’s gifts using both natural and semi-precious stones, sea glass, shells, exotic woods, and mixed metals to create sophisticated and distinctive jewelry. Many pieces are unisex; others may lend themselves specifically for women, men, teens, and children. You can truly find something for just about everyone's taste, as this collection helps one to express their individual unique style. I use natural state stones to cut, carve, smooth/tumble, and polish to maximize and capture the pure inner beauty of each stone. I locate unique stones from around the world, including jasper, agate, quartz, hematite, malachite, jade, aquamarine, zoisite, turquoise, tiger eye, opals, onyx, lapis lazuli, goldstone, sandstone, unakite, amethyst, amazonite, citrine, bronzite, pyrite, tourmaline, sea shells, sea glass and many beautiful pearls (freshwater, seed, coin, cultured, baroque, and mother of pearl). I also incorporate mixed metals, etched beads, glass, crystals, and various materials to make each design 'distinctive'. You may also see the use of feathers, coins, fossils, wood carvings, brass, copper, sterling silver/plate, gold plate, bone, silks and ropes to enhance, contrast, or intensify the stone's natural colors, shapes, or vein lines. Each piece is handmade; most all designs are one-of-a-kind.
I particularly enjoy making inspired jewelry design styles that have origins of historic, ethnic, or cultural influences, some modern & contemporary trends, or classical treatments based on the wishes of my customer. Many of the stones are well-known for their metaphysical and healing properties. As we all deal with challenges and personal health issues, my goal is to introduce you to stones that assist in relieving stress, increasing mental clarity and focus, and that are historically known for their medicinal properties....many bring calmness, strength, tranquility, and balance. If there is something specific you are seeking, let me know as I carry much inventory --- and not all my designs are pictured in ETSY. Over the last eight years I have gained many friends & private clients that visit me when I sell my jewelry at local art galleries, art shows, gift stores, and from time-to-time online. I am often asked to design custom pieces to accessorize and complement specific clothing/outfits worn for special events, business or upcoming travel trips.
