These were a gift for Christmas, and my friend loved the colors, the different insides and out, and they went well w/ his Mexican pottery!

Gorgeous and the customer service is fantastic! One piece came chipped and I recorded another one in the Mail almost immediately with an ornament included! Very sweet! The only thing to keep in mind is the size of the pieces relative to the size of the squares on the chessboard.. these pieces are a bit big for my 13x13 board. We will all use them though!

The King in my grandson’s chess set was broken. The King and the other pieces were saddened. The King was very powerful but was ceramic. She matched the size and color perfectly. The new King was shipped and the coronation was wonderful. Long live the King.

This platter is lovely - even more beautiful than in the photo. I purchased it as a Christmas gift and it arrived quickly and made it intact - it was very well packed. The gift recipient loved it and has already used it several times. I will definitely buy from DivaClay again.

Retired, living in North Carolina and I love working with clay.
I love to work with clay. Everything I make is handmade in North Carolina. When I am not creating unique pottery I enjoy teaching young children the joy of working with wet clay.
I have a daughter and she is the mother of two of my granddaughters. She lives in Massachusetts where I am originally from. My son lives close by in NC with my oldest granddaughter and my only grandson.
My first experience with clay was many years ago when I took a pottery class with my oldest granddaughter, Kristy. We were hooked. She was only 11 years old but she learned quickly and soon we were both making gifts for everyone. Now an adult, Kristy is my assistant and makes her own unique pottery and helps me with teaching my students.
Little did I know that I would one day have my own studio. My husband and I lived in Maui, Hawaii for three years and my husband missed having a woodworking shop. The cost for setting up a shop and purchasing wood was prohibitive in Maui. I loved Maui and didn't want to leave but he was determined. As an incentive to move back to the mainland my husband promised me my own pottery studio. I was packing my bags before the for sale sign went up on our condo. We moved back to NC and close to my granddaughter, Kristy, and my husband keep true to his word. DivaClay became a full time passion.
