I started painting horses at a young age. I always loved creating. Several years ago I made a wardrobe for my daughter's refurbished American Girl doll and that is what started me to sew doll clothes. But my real love was for painting and creating dolls. I imagine each doll with their own personality and often the finished product is much different that what I originally planned. Ive also sewn historical clothing for close to 17 years, and have done many custom orders outside of my Etsy shop creating period historical clothing for other who do living histories.
I exhibited my paintings in galleries and other places. I love to be able to create something unique.
I work from a home based studio to allow me to be home with my daughter who was born with a rare genetic birth defect called Phelan McDermid Syndrome. It is best described as a combination of cerebal palsy and Autism.
Art and crafting is something I truely love to do! And I love being able to share something that started off as a thought in my head, and turn it into a physical piece of art.
