‘Doc’ is a Phoenix based comic artist, illustrator and writer originally hailing from Wisconsin. When he’s not hard at work on commissions he’s trying to catch up on drawing his web-comic creation WARBIRDS OF MARS. Some of Doc’s pen & ink art was featured in ‘A Life of Ravens’ by Alex Ness, new-pulp books by Airship27 and Moonstone, and ‘Crypt of Dracula’ by Kane Gilmour. A self-taught illustrator and comic artist, his work includes book and magazine illustrations and covers, comics, sequentials and pin-ups. His personal creation is WARBIRDS OF MARS (.com), a diesel-punk, sci-fi adventure set in WWII that has grown from a webcomic into books, comics, podcasts and more.
Among Doc’s interests are classic illustrations and movie genres, vintage clothes and cars, pulp magazines and a severe predilection for ‘Doctor Who’ since the age of 8. He lives in a very classic house with his girl, their ohana, four cats, a bird, one tortoise, and occasionally a dog.
