Doggy Threads comenzó como un pasatiempo de vestir a nuestros dos perros pequeños (Pumpkin y Frosty). Nuestro terrier Pumpkin tiene el pelo muy delgado y hace frío durante el invierno aquí en el alto desierto del sur de California. Mi habilidad y alegría por coser cosas juntas me impulsaron a aprender más y desencadenaron mi curiosidad por crear más atuendos usando lo que parecía ser una variedad infinita de telas y patrones. Comencé a coser con una vieja máquina de aguja única que he tenido desde que tomé algunas clases de costura durante la escuela secundaria en un centro ocupacional regional.

Cuando decidí vender algunos de mis productos en línea, me di cuenta de que necesitaba mejores máquinas para ayudarme a producir más rápido. Compré algunas máquinas de fuerza industrial, chico, ayudaron, eran rápidas y un poco intimidantes, pero las entendí rápidamente ya que tenía lo básico. Comencé esto como un negocio en marzo de 2015. Asistimos a algunos eventos locales y mercados de pulgas aquí en el Valle del Antílope para probar la idea y hemos estado ocupados desde entonces. Abrí un quiosco en un centro comercial local para probar aún más nuestro producto. Los comentarios han sido excelentes y la gente ha disfrutado viendo Doggy Threads en sus amigos de cuatro patas. He disfrutado mucho de esto y asistiré a más eventos en los próximos años y me expandiré a otros lugares. Te mantendré informado aquí y a través de Facebook.

Hilos para perros

Doggy Threads started as a hobby of dressing up our two small dogs (Pumpkin and Frosty). Our terrier Pumpkin has very thin hair and it gets cold during the winter here in the high desert of southern California. My skill and joy for sewing things together sparked me to learn more and triggered my curiosity to create more outfits using what seemed to be an endless variety of fabrics and patterns. I started sewing with and old single needle machine I've had since I took some sewing classes during high school at a regional occupational center.

When I decided to sell some of my products online I realized, I need better machines to help me produce more faster. I bought some industrial strength machines, boy did they help, they were fast and slightly intimidating but got the hang of them fast since I had the basics down. I started this as a business in March of 2015. We attended some local events and flea markets here in the Antelope Valley to test the idea and have been busy ever since. I opened a kiosk at a local mall to further pilot our product. The feedback has been great and people have enjoyed seeing Doggy Threads on their four legged friends. I have enjoyed this a lot and will be attending more events in the coming years and expanding to other venues. I'll keep you posted here and via Facebook.
