Skilled fashion doll clothes creator and crafter

Thank you for stopping by. I love crafting and sewing. On here, I create handmade doll clothes for 11.5/12/13" and 16-17" fashion dolls and action figures. I also craft various furniture and accessory pieces.
I have sewn since I was 10 (4 + decades now). I've sewn clothes for myself, others, dolls, dogs, and children. As well as, home accessories such as curtains, pillow, duvets and even upholstered furniture.
When I was young, on the weekends, I would turn my bedroom into a doll town. I'd make everything they needed since we couldn't afford the pink manufactured items. I'd use whatever I could find around the house. Years later in my 30's I would host an after school program at a local elementary school for 6th to 8th graders and the children called me The Doll House lady. I'd bring all the necessary supplies such as recyclables of scrap fabric, paper, trims, cardboard boxes, etc. and guide the children through creatively upcycling items into their dream bedroom using an empty multi-pack office paper box. It would take about 5-6 weeks to complete at about 90 minutes once a week. I did this for a few years.
I always collected dolls and miniatures here and there but didn't 'play' like I did as a child and never set up doll town again until 2017. For some reason, I wanted to bring them out and set them up like I used to as a child except now I didn't need to put them away! Since I didn't have very many dolls I started collecting them from thrift store and bargain bins. I discovered articulated dolls and every imaginable accessory. I'm thrilled to have rediscovered one of my favorite hobbies again. I also found the fabulous 16-17" Mdme. Alexander, Robert Tonner and similar fashion dolls and became enthralled! Sewing is so easy for them and many are fully articulated

Have a look around and I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by what you find. I'm highly skilled and take extreme pride in making realistic clothes for our little friends.
