Established here on Etsy in 2009, Doloris Petunia started a hand-crafted women's jewelry and made-to-order accessories brand after designer Courtney Prince was unable to find, many of the accessories she and her soon to be married friends were wanting to buy. Known for custom one-of-a-kind statement pieces, Courtney's unique take on design is honed out of an obsessive curiosity to learn the in's and out's of time-honored techniques of artisans across the globe and throughout history. Due to the delicate, made-to-order nature of our jewelry, accessories, and flower girl dresses, we do not accept returns or exchanges.

If an item is defective upon arrival or has been damaged in the shipping process, please contact us within 24 hours at contact [!at] dolorispetunia.com with images of the item. If the item is approved for a return or exchange, we ask that you return the item in the original package with a postmark within 24 hours of receipt to be eligible for a refund or exchange on the item. Shipping costs are not eligible for a refund. Items must be in the original condition, must be unwashed, unused, and accompanied by the original Doloris Petunia receipt. The buyer is responsible for paying the return shipping or exchange shipping costs.

Doloris Petunia merchandise purchased on this site cannot be returned to other retailers.

FAQ: JEWELRY & ACCESSORIES

1. Why does my item look slightly different than the image on the website?
Due to the handmade nature of our pieces, items can vary from piece to piece. We tend to favor vintage or raw materials in our accessories. As a result, materials may be substituted to achieve a similar aesthetic as the item that you order.

2. Do you accept custom orders?
Yes, we accept custom orders. We take them on a case by case basis depending on the lead time and current wait list volume. The cost for custom orders may vary depending on the intricacy of the work involved. Please do not hesitate to ask about an idea you have. We love working one on one with clients to create original pieces.

3. Can I cancel my order if I change my mind?
You have 24 hours to cancel an order that you have placed. We cannot cancel an order after this time because it goes into production.

FAQ: FLOWER GIRL DRESSES

1. Why does the color of my dress look different than the image on the website?
Due to the many variations in monitors and browsers, color samples may appear different on different monitors. Computer monitors are not all calibrated equally and color reproduction on the Internet is not precise. Since it is not possible to guarantee our online colors will look the same on all computers, we do not guarantee that what you see accurately portrays the color of the dress. We do our very best to make sure that your dress is as close to the exact product as possible, but cannot guarantee that what you see is an exact sample.

If it is important that the dress be exact to the color sample you see online, it is highly recommended that you order a color swatch first. There will be a charge to send out color swatches. After you receive your color swatch, keep in mind that even the color swatch can have minimal color variations from the finished product due to dye lots. We cannot be responsible for these differences.

2. How do I know what size to order?
We offer custom measurements. Fit is important to us and our dresses look best when they have been tailored to your child’s exact measurements. Please e-mail us your child’s measurements 3 months in advance of the event. Do not adjust your child’s measurements to account for your child’s growth over the course of the next 3 months. Our in-house production team will make the appropriate adjustments to the dress measurements that will account for potential growth.

We will need the following measurements in inches:

- Height: distance from the top of the child’s head to the bottom of her feet.
- Length: distance from child's navel to the nape of their neck.
- Chest Circumference
- Waist Circumference
- Hip Circumference
- Hemline

3. Do you accept custom orders?

The cost for custom orders may vary depending on the intricacy of the work involved. Please do not hesitate to ask about an idea you have. 4. What kind of customization options do you offer?
We can create an original dress for your event. Or if you would like to customize a dress from our core collection, we offer the following customization options:
dress length, petticoat volume, add/remove sleeves, custom dye, personalization options such as having the child’s name and the event date embroidered on the dress.

5. Can I update my order if I accidentally ordered the wrong size, color, or style?
Some orders require specific preference selections as it pertains to size, color, or style. You have up to 24 hours to contact us with changes. Please read each listing carefully and make your selections. After 24 hours, we will process the order that you originally remitted through our systems.
