Pretty awesome piece of costume art. I plan on displaying it when I'm not wearing it. Fits great and easy to mold to my facial shape. Can't wait to put in my full "gear." I'll send an updated pic then. Thanks!
Bringing the future to the present
I sort of fell into jewellery design by accident as i was asked by some performance artist friends if i could make them some corsets and body adornments to match. From there i did some work for stylists and magazines, then started to make pieces specifically to sell.
I have been making futuristic body jewellery for about 15 years and have always been interested in negative spaces or jewellery working with the body in unconventional ways. I have had no formal training so it has always felt like i had a completely free reign over how pieces work with the body.
I enjoy it immensely as there is really no limit as to what you can design and materials used.
As I am primarily a sculptor and interior designer specializing in futuristic concepts, this inevitably led to me using and mixing different industrial type materials and styles.
my main inspirations are from science, technology and couture fashion.
Around the web
I'm an artist/designer who's passionate about all things futuristic, whether it's inspiration from science, technology or something current and cultural. I'm self taught, although i work mostly with sculpture and design i also love jewellery design
