American Artist painting in a realist tradition - Good Art for Everyone

Making paintings and prints is only part of being an artist. For me, being an artist means immersing myself in life - all of it - and being committed to working toward making things better without mucking too much up. It means looking with a clear eye, seeing with an open countenance and expressing my vision - and my convictions - without compromise.

It means being involved.

I believe that everyone should be able to have good, unique art where they live. Museum admission prices are too high and art is too expensive for most people to bring home. As a corrective I can reduce the cost of bringing good art home. Regrettably I can’t reduce museum admission prices.

Printing technology, high quality inks and papers and a sales platform like Etsy have made it possible to bring my paintings, as prints, to a wider audience at very affordable prices. Most prints are made by me, the artist, and I ensure the color matching and vibrancy are true and maintained by careful control throughout the printing process.

While my original painting sell nationally for quite a lot of money, the prints I offer here are nearly indistinguishable from my original work (prints of the oil paintings excepted - the texture of oil on linen or canvas is three dimensional and unique). And, of course, these prints are available at a fraction of the price.

Art for Everyone! That means you.
