The item was a gift and I requested that it would be sent directly to my friend as I did not have time to send her something from England. The shop owner was very helpful and obliging and delivered the gift in good time, as well as including a note saying who it was from. Although I have not seen the item yet, my friend was very pleased with it :-)

A beautiful, creative piece, with carefully selected, vibrant colors - very well executed, consistent with the other pieces I've had the pleasure of buying through DSTD.

I love this dreamcatcher - its long, falling arms are beautifully adorned with feathers and beads while still maintaining simplicity and grace. The upper part features two concentric rings encircling an elegant seashell, which to me, inspire peace and good vibes. Truly a labor of love :)

About

The dust shall not be settled!

Born in Madeira Island (Portugal) I grew unavoidably influenced by natural shapes and colors, which are clearly patent in every single one of my pieces.

Although I graduated in Anthropology, crafting has always been a very natural necessity that my hands seemed to crave, and it only seemed normal that thoughts would be translated into any kind of crafted objects, eventually and more recently leading to jewelry. I've always regared jewelry as an intrinsic part of feminine expression finding it almost indispensable in every curve and detail of a woman's gestures and personality.

It's exactly on that note that I decided to start creating my own pieces, as an extension of my own gestures and personality and make it uniquely mine. Its ideologic success led to the creation of Don't Settle The Dust in 2013 as a means of creating suspended conversations in others women's gestures, and thus making them their own.

I don't own my own shop so all items are made at home entirely by me as is all the process that leads to them being available for you to adopt them as your own vanity extensions. Items are available online, at a local shops and at craft fairs that I usually atend.
