Announcement   DoodlepunkArt features OOAK handmade healing gemstone & crystal amulet jewelry, natural rock & mineral specimens and healing artwork. I have been impregnated by stone, mineral, metal and bone. I am giving birth to powerful talismans of healing designed to bring comfort and joy, and to draw attention to the natural beauty of the wearer.

I pay meticulous attention to detail to make sure that all of my work is sturdy, flattering and comfortable. I wrap raw quartz, crystal spheres, rocks & rough mineral specimen using copper, brass or silver to create pendants, necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings that both serve as fashion, and as tools for spiritual & physical healing, reiki, meditation or shamanism.

All of my jewelry is handcrafted by me, Jennifer Shipley, in a non-smoking studio with nontoxic and hypoallergenic/nickel-free supplies. Custom orders are welcomed, though due to a high volume, these may be put on a waiting list; convo me for scheduling. I am not currently soldering due to health issues, but will be happy to wire-wrap a stone for you.

I specialize in untreated crystals and minerals, my favorite of which is genuine lemon citrine. I only sell 100% natural, unheated, untreated citrine and do not sell any heat-treated amethyst citrine. I have a large collection of untreated citrine, so if you don’t see what you are looking for, convo me. Please let me know your price range and any details you can, in order to cut out some of my guesswork.

Along with citrine, I have many, many different crystals and gemstones in my collections which include some more rare items like Sirius amethyst, super 7 melody stone, green angel dreamstone from Inner Mongolia, fuchsite phantom quartz, green phantom quartz, rutillated quartz, actinolite in quartz, papaya quartz, apricot amphibole quartz, tremolite in quartz, golden healers and much much more.

I am a rock hound and have started cutting my own cabochons, so there is so much stuff in the works in my studio. I am also in the process of releasing a series of painted rocks and adult coloring book pages, zendoodles / zentangles and mandalas for instant download. I post a lot of updates on my instagram, so if you want to know ahead of time what is coming up, do subscribe: https://www.instagram.com/doodlepunkart/

My shipping turnaround is typically 3 business days for completed items and 2 weeks for made-to-order ones, though I’ve been having some flair-ups this year, so there are some occasions where my orders have been delayed up to three days at the worst for made to order items. If an order is delayed, I will upgrade domestic orders to priority, which will speed things up a few days, and I also throw in extra surprise goodies if anyone has had to wait even one extra day. If you have a quickly approaching deadline, in which a day or two delay might throw things off kilter, please let me know at the time of your order and I will make sure to meet your deadline. Any rushed order requests (when you want your item quicker than my posted turnaround) please convo me asap to see if I can accommodate you. Thank you for visiting my store and taking the time to read this. I wish you joy, peace, love, adventure, beauty and vibrant health.

These pieces are just amazing!! I received them in a timely manner and they were packaged nicely and securely. Jennifer is exceptionally nice and open in her communication. I have already placed her shop on my favorites and will be keeping a close eye on her new products as they come in....Mahalo (thank you) and aloha~

I hammer all of my jumprings, then file them flush and sand off the burrs so they are smooth, sturdy and extra secure.
Here are some genuine Unheated, untreated citrine spheres used in my citrine sphere pendants. There is one heated amethyst pebble shown to illustrate the dramatic color difference between most heated citrine and the Unheated variety.
Bret and I spent today at Teanaway, near Ellensburg, WA searching for Ellensburg Blue Agates. I found some great yellow and black webbed jasper that I'm going to have Bret slab for me so I can make some cabochons for my shop. I'll keep you updated. :)

Thank you for visiting my rock and crystal jewelry shop. My priority is your satisfaction. My goal is to provide you with the best service and the highest quality healing gemstone jewelry and mineral specimens that your money can buy. I will work with you to help you find the stone that is right for you and/or the pendant, necklace or earrings that are your perfect match.

I pay meticulous attention to detail in everything I do to be sure that my items are shipped safely and my jewelry is free of flaws. I am very detail oriented and precise. In my world, marred metal, something that hangs crooked, wires that are uneven or weak, anything scratchy, or links that perpetually catch your hairs are all traits of something that is not of good quality. All of my jump rings are hammered and filed so they are flush where they meet and strong so they will not come undone. I file down and buff the snipped ends of my wire, including the wire-wrapped links, so that you end up with something that not only looks great under a magnifying glass, but will be comfortable for anybody to wear, even those of us with SPD. You will not find anyone more detail oriented and meticulous than me. This shop is an area of my life where my extreme perfectionist nature is an asset. Hooray for those healthy outlets! :)

Please let me know if you have any questions or if there is anything I can do to help you.

Payment
I accept credit cards and paypal. I prefer not to reserve items already listed in my shop for more than a few days unless you are a repeat buyer. Sorry, but I am not typically interested in bartering.
Shipping
I offer combined shipping discounts on multiple item orders. My shipping turnaround is 3 business days, except for made-to-order items. Shipping turnaround is stated in the listing and also in your invoice. Please message me ASAP if you need to rush your order. Also, it is your responsibility to make sure that the address that you provide me is correct when you order.

NOTE: Please be aware, I charge for MY AVERAGE SHIPPING COSTS, not just the exact postage fee. I do not charge handling fees. I keep my shipping rates fair and reasonable, and only charge my expenses, which includes a small amount to cover fees, gas and materials. If I notice that etsy's combined shipping calculations are over my costs, I will reimburse you.

If there is ever an occasion that an order has to be delayed by an extra business day and it is not due to a last minute request or change from the customer, at my expense I will upgrade domestic orders to priority so they will be received at the same time or earlier than they are expected. For international packages, I will add an extra gift to make up for any one day delay.

I pack things extremely carefully with lots of extra padding and protection to ensure that nothing gets damaged. The padding may include styrofoam, foam, bubblewrap, biodegradeable peanuts and cardboard. Some of the padding materials are previously used. I create custom boxes for many of my items to insure they do not get crushed. This adds at least 2 - 3 ounces to all packages. The added cost is minimal, when you consider the inconvenience to both of us if something were to arrive broken.

DOMESTIC ORDERS:

I ship through USPS via First Class Mail unless other arrangements have been made with customer. ALL domestic (inside the U.S.) orders $15 and over will be shipped WITH insurance. ALL domestic packages will have a tracking number. You can find that tracking number in your shipping notification email or in your invoice on the etsy site. (Hover over "Your Account" in the upper right corner. In the drop down menu that appears, click on " Purchases & Reviews.")

If, despite my meticulous packing methods, there is damage, please save your packaging and item and convo me immediately so we can work on making a claim to cover any damages. I will need your cooperation in order to make a claim. This will involve either you returning everything to me, or providing photographs to me so I can file a claim, or you taking the item and materials to the local post office to file a claim yourself.

Although we can get refunded when something like this happens, I would rather avoid the hassle of filing a claim for my customer, because it does require some work on your part as well, SO I package everything METICULOUSLY so that it can survive major abuse before it gets to you, which means that the packages do weigh more than if I were to just simply wrap in a little bubble wrap and enclose in an envelope. I feel this is the best option for both of us. In my opinion, the nominal increase in shipping cost is worth not having any hassles or disappointments. :)

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:

Most international packages are sent first class mail. I am now using etsy's calculated shipping services and will not misrepresent the package contents on the customs forms. This means that you may be charged custom fees. I do have some knowledge of fees for different countries, so if you have any questions on what these may be, please feel free to convo me.

Etsy does provide a tracking number and insurance. I will insure international orders of $15 or more. The tracking number provided however, may or may not work in your country. We will at least be able to see when your package leaves the United States. Your country may not enter the tracking number in the system, so please make certain that your address appears as it should in the invoice. International addresses are very different from US, and there is no way for me to know if the way your address was provided to me is as it should appear on the your package.
Refunds and Exchanges
My priority is the happiness of my customers. Please review my feedback rating and customer reviews to see that I will go to the ends of the earth to make sure you are happy. This means that I do allow for returns and exchanges on a case by case basis.

I guarantee my items to be fee of defect. This does not include normal inclusions in natural stones, so please take a good look at the photos before you buy. Natural stones have flaws that are part of their unique personality; I try to capture that personality in my photographs. Please zoom in to the photos to see greater detail.

This guarantee does not include damage caused by dropping or trauma after it arrives. Natural stones and crystals do chip or break if they experience trauma. All pendants come with a satchel for storage. Please use this satchel to prevent damage to the stone and scratches on the metal. Coil your cord up neatly before putting it in the satchel to prevent kinks. Do not use chemicals, oils (which will break down adhesive) or abrasives on your pendant. Damage that the user causes by handling improperly is not covered under my guarantee. However, if you care properly for your pendant and it slips out of its setting, that is covered. I will gladly repair your pendant, or replace it if it is not repairable.

If there is any other problem with your pendant I will work with you to either repair or replace it. If the problem is due to my error, that will be covered under my guarantee. If any maintenance or repair needs to be done that falls under normal wear and tear, or user error, I will be glad to perform maintenance if possible to your item for a fair fee. Please feel free to ask me.

If you change your mind before you wear it, I will consider refunds on a case by case basis, provided that the item returns to me in the same condition that it was when it was sent to you. If you change your mind on a specimen after you receive it, or you think it's going to be different than it is because you failed to look at all of the photos and read the description, I will still consider returns on a case by case basis. You will cover all of the shipping costs in both of these cases. That means that if I do agree to issue a refund, it will not include the original shipping cost. So, to clarify, if a return is due to my mistake, I will pay shipping. If it is due to your error/oversight, you pay shipping. I go to great lengths to describe my items thoroughly in the listings, so please take the time to read them BEFORE you order.

If the return is not done in the first month after original sale, I will not be able to issue it through etsy, which means that the etsy and paypal fees that I payed for the transaction will not be recoverable, so I will have to deduct them from your refund amount. I must receive the item BEFORE I can issue the refund to ensure that it is unused and undamaged. Please contact me to make arrangements in enough time for this process to be completed prior to the end of that thirty day period, in order to prevent losing the fee portion of your refund.

Feel free to convo me no matter what the situation, because I do make exceptions if the situation warrants it.
