DorothyCheng's Shop Announcement

As of September 2013, I am studying Metalwork Conservation full time at West Dean College in England. Because of this, the studio time required for all made-to-order pieces has increased to one week. Thank you for your patience!

Inspired by history and literature, from medieval armor to Homer's the Odyssey, I design and create every piece by hand.

DorothyCheng's Shop Policies

I design and make Dorothy Cheng Jewelry pieces with my own two paws. I use mostly sterling silver (for its soft shine and ability to pair well with anything) and brass (for its evocative, antique look). Sometimes I throw in some semi-precious gems and pearls for color and texture.

Craftsmanship is very important to me, as someone who has a reverence for the long history of craft and its various traditions. I promise that every Dorothy Cheng Jewelry piece will be made with careful attention to detail and quality.

I accept credit and debit cards and Paypal.

Though I am a Seattle native, I am temporarily based in Chichester, England for graduate school. Because of this, the studio time required for all made-to-order pieces has increased to one week. Thank you for your patience!

All packages will be shipped with Royal Mail. Please make sure your mailing address on PayPal is the same as your mailing address on Etsy. If they are different, I will ship to the address listed by Paypal.

Parcels sent to UK addresses are delivered within 3 days. I will send you an email the day I ship so you can start looking forward to getting your jewelry!

Please let me know prior to checkout if you'd like to upgrade to a faster shipping method for an additional fee.

All items will be nestled in a gift box tied with gold thread and sealed with red wax.

Buyers are responsible for all duties, taxes, levies or fees. All international orders will have full value declared on customs forms - no exceptions. I ship worldwide to countries that accept PayPal, using Royal Mail. Delivery times are around one week, although during holidays, this may be longer.

If you would like your jewelry order delivered quickly, please request an upgrade to a faster shipping method prior to checkout.

Refunds and Exchanges

I will happily exchange any item that arrives damaged and will cover the shipping and handling costs. Returns are accepted only if item has been grossly misrepresented. Please note that handmade items will vary slightly from piece to piece. I do my best to describe and represent my work as accurately as I can so that you know what you’ll be receiving. I am always happy to answer any questions or discuss requests or concerns before your made-to-order purchase!

Custom orders are created just for you and are not returnable!
