Welcome to Dotted Swiss Studio, a shop that evolved from a passion for creativity, kept in the bounds of being a busy wife and mom of three amazing kids. I watched my crafty mom whip up creations my whole life; I guess that is where my interest in sewing came from. I have been sewing custom home decor for several years in my home studio, in Salem, Oregon. I have now perfected my pillow design, and I love to add self welt piping or other trim for special interest. Most of my pillows are lined and have serged edges, as well as invisible zippers and carefully matched patterns. This attention to detail and quality sets my products apart. There is nothing like snuggling up next to a beautifully lined down pillow, where the patterns match perfectly and zippers are hard to find underneath. I see value in creating projects at various price points, and using vintage or repurposed materials, as well as new and fashionable decorator fabric. We all love something fresh and unique to add character and charm to our homes.

The name of my shop, Dotted Swiss, comes from one of my favorite fabrics. It's been around since it's creation in the 1700's, but it's youthful charm conveys a classic style that tells the story of my shop. The image and texture of those tiny raised dots reminds me of sweet feminine dresses and breezy curtains, the feeling I want to convey...a studio of feel-goods. Please check out my products regularly, as I hope to mix old and new, simple and detailed, shabby and sophisticated. If you are interested in something else that is not listed, please ask.
