I am an eclectic and chaotic artist and crafter, with a gazillion different projects on the go at any one time. At the moment I have mixed media, photography, painting, spinning, weaving and knitting all happening. I also adore all things vintage and antique. I have a deep desire to connect with the past and also to revitalise, refresh and reuse items. You may be able to guess that from my choices in display pieces :)
Periodically I have to put aside my creating as I do have to turn up at work (the dreaded day job or in my case, night job). Oh, and occasionally spend time with my partner. The furbabies are always with me when I create. But I digress ...
I tinker here and there and am always putting up more products, supplies, things that I make and also vintage items needing a new home. So please add me to your favourites so you can see what I've been up to. ~ Lisa

Reclaiming me.
I have such fond memories when I was a little girl, sitting with my grandmother as she knitted, my mum as she spun wool, mucking about with clay and paint and having the BEST of times ferreting around in the crowded, dusty corners of junk stores and buying all manner of bits and bobs for 10 cents here, 5 cents there and creating interesting and magical things. Well, they were interesting and magical to me as a child. I also delighted in picking up well loved old books and little treasures, some of which I still have a few decades later.
Sadly, as an adult that dreaded four letter word .... work <- you know what I'm talking about! .... took over way too much of my life and the time I had available to craft and make art whittled away to almost nothing.
But I've taken a stand! I'm claiming back *me* time! Mindfulness and slow are my new keywords and with that, I've gotten back into my art and crafts and am also experimenting. I've found vintage equipment, knitting machines, spinning wheels, looms, and have brought them back to life. I've driven out on country dirt roads and found farmers to buy or barter wool and fleece from. Bought cherished vintage knitting patterns and needles from estate sales. Met the most awesome people.
The dreaded four letter word ... work <- argh, even typing the word brings shudders ... still takes up far too much of my life but I'm now working to live, not living to work and it is wonderful.
Now because my partner - rather unreasonably I think - wants to actually have some living space in our house and not be buried behind looms and easels and wheels and bags of fiber ... I have to do something with all my creations and so here I am :)

Frequently asked questions
International Shipping
International shipping is by Economy Air as the cheapest and fastest option available. It is approximately 10 business days for arrival. Weirdly, tracking to me is provided with this option, but not tracking to the buyer!
If the item is small, less than 500gms in packed weight and less than 20mm in height, it can be shipped as a large letter at a much cheaper cost. Packaging is a rigid mailer (cardboard box) for protection of the item. There is no tracking (even to me) on this.
If you would like tracking, please convo me as there is an additional cost and this varies depending on the location. I don't want to overcharge on this.
Where I can small items are shipped free or low cost with another item.

Unfortunately, the fleece whilst they may be light are bulky and I cannot fit 300 gm of fleece in a 500 gm satchel. I will always try to ship bulkier products at the cheapest cost possible as long as I can ensure that the product(s) won't be damaged in transit.
Smoke Free Home ... But I have Pets
I am meticulous about keeping my supplies and products packaged up or in crates to maintain their integrity and cleanliness but it is always a possibility that there may be a stray hair. I do, as I say, my very best to ensure there isn't but if you are allergic this is something you may wish to factor in to your consideration in purchasing from me.
Vintage Items
My goal is to take as accurate a picture as possible, in natural lighting, so that you can really see the quality of the product you are buying.
Nothing bugs me more than to buy something online only to find that the photograph was overexposed and didn't show all the flaws.
If you would like more photographs though of anything that I sell, please don't hesitate to convo me.
I want everyone who purchases to be happy in the knowledge that what I am representing is as true a representation as possible.
Responding to Enquiries
I endeavour to respond to all enquiries within 48 hours. This (sadly) is not my full time role and the day job can keep me a little more occupied than I would like. I often will be able to answer earlier but otherwise my goal is 48 hours.
Prohibition on exporting of some products (ie wood or raw plant fiber)
I am unable to ship some of the items I make or the supplies I sell, such as wooden items or raw plant fibers, to some countries. In particular the United States of America has a prohibition on the importation of wood and raw plant material.
My post office here in Australia will refuse to ship items which are prohibited by their destination country.
Where this happens I will issue a full refund and cancel the order.
