Back in 2013, we set out to simplify the learning of Arabic and Persian by creating world’s #1 pedagogically advanced maple wood blocks in those languages, made to last generations and crafted ethically in Vermont, USA!

The great American children’s author and illustrator Theodor Seuss Geisel’s pen name “Dr. Seuss” is the inspiration behind Dr. Bashi™ and although “Bashi” is an Iranian last-name, its Japanese sound-effect and meaning (suffix for "bridge") pays homage to the wondrous tradition of Japanese visual arts.

In 2017, Dr. Bashi™ launched its Diverse Children's Books Publishing House! The first title in our illustrated series is the best-selling "P is for Palestine: A Palestine Alphabet Book."

A single set of the Dr. Bashi™ woodblocks (the Persian launched in 2013, and the Arabic in 2014) in any home & classroom can help advancing literacy, love of learning and the arts, empowerment & citizenship (check out our short animated video: http://bit.ly/2koCw6B).

🍄 SHIPPING 🍄

We NO LONGER offer international shipping as unfortunately, delivery times to non-US destinations are not guaranteed and there may be delays, possibility of damage or lost shipments as well as additional international duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and other fees associated with customs clearance or international imports burdening customers.

Like many other American businesses, we now ship only within the United States as it is the fastest, most secure, and least expensive option for our customers.

International customers can, should they want to, independently arrange for a "Parcel Forwarding Service" to take care of their order. We do NOT endorse or recommend "Parcel Forwarding Services" and we are NOT responsible in any way for orders handled by a "Parcel Forwarding Service" for international customers.

🍄 Return and Cancellation Policy 🍄

We are a small, ethical company that offers unique books and hand-made products prepared with love and care in the USA--because of the nature of our products, we do NOT accept returns of our items, even unopened packages.

Prices and product availability are subject to change without notice. We also reserve the right to change and update patterns if necessary.

If we are experiencing any delays we will try our best to notify our customers as quickly as possible.

You can cancel an order if we receive your cancellation request before your order is processed. However, as soon as the credit card company has processed your payment, we are charged a fee, so there will be a 3.5% credit card processing fee to cancel an order if we receive your request after your payment has been processed.
