Science Meets Art!
I grew up in Wales - land of dragons, leeks, daffodils and a rich mining history. Our flag even features a dragon!
I love science, and went on to study materials chemistry at university and at grad school in Cambridge, UK. I moved to the USA in 2002, and worked in advanced battery research - devising and troubleshooting the process for new materials.
After falling for a military officer, and welcoming our son a few years later, I decided to put my research career on hold as we moved from assignment to assignment.
Always one to look for fun new projects though - I discovered stained glass art and glass fusing! It was the perfect blend of science and art, and has turned from a hobby into a wonderful small business.
I love to create unique pieces, full of colour and light and the bonus of being able to combine technology developed for the space program into my work is fabulous!

Custom and personalized orders
I accept custom orders, although regret that exchanges or refunds are not available on these items. Please contact me for information regarding custom orders.
Gift wrapping and packaging
All Dragon Glass items are shipped in gift packaging at no extra charge, consisting of a twine-wrapped brown kraft paper box, with cotton stuffing for presentation and protection of your jewelry item during shipping. If you would prefer no invoice to be included with your package, please let me know during ordering.
Sizing details
Sizes are noted in the description of each item. For further information, please contact me.
Care instructions
Jewelry should not be worn in water, since this can weaken the adhesive bond.
Additionally, items made with sterling silver can and will tarnish over time. I use high quality sterling silver findings, but, oxidation (tarnish) is a natural process of the metal in reaction with air. A gentle polish of your item can help, and wearing your jewelry achieves this also.
Can I Return or Exchange Items?
If your item is unworn, you may return it for a different item. The cost of original shipping, return shipping and shipping back to you is not refundable and is extra.
Earrings, for hygiene reasons, may not be returned or exchanged, unless damaged in shipping.
Custom items are not returnable.
What if my address is incorrect?
We urge you to ensure your shipping address is correct and updated. If items are shipped to incorrect addresses, and item has already been shipped, it is often difficult to intercept. In such cases, customers are advised to contact both us and their local post office with tracking information. Cost of shipping to incorrect addresses is not refundable, and additional shipping fees may be applicable.
