About

Doing what I love

When I got laid off from the Information Technology industry I had a great deal of time on my hands between job hunting. That's when I got the idea to use printed cardboard papers as tiles to simulate mosaic. I started applying the method or technique to birdhouses, stash boxes, jewelry boxes and found that I was really onto something.

I also enjoy selling the vintage items I've accumulated and carefully stored over the years. The vintage business can be fun and exciting.

I use discarded printed papers, tissue boxes, & calendars to simulate mosaic on functional items made of wood. It's called Fausaic. Do you have a favorite calendar page or tissue box that you want to keep around? Send it to me for a custom item.

Welcome to my store. I create one-of-a-kind items using mixed media. I make fausaic art and tie dye. Occasionally I'll have my drawings for sale. I also sell vintage items. We have lots of vintage vinyl records from which to choose.

For fausaic art I use discarded papers for tiles instead of glass or ceramic and the paint becomes the grout in order to simulate mosaic. The fausaic is applied to functional items like birdhouses, jewelry and stash or keepsake boxes. I also take custom orders for colorful solid or tie dyed cotton scarves.

If you see something you like and need multiple quantities in a certain color combo, just ask. Our items make great personal gifts. Take a look around and let me know if you have any questions.

Additional policies and FAQs
Each of my fausaic art pieces are one-of-a-kind, many are signed by the artist. I do not provide measurements on request. Too many requests have caused me to say no more. I'll be happy to answer questions, but dragging out and measuring the item is not on my "to do " list. I will try to provide better measurements going forward.
