On Etsy since 2013

Online personalized decals shop, family owned and operated.

Dragonfly Sticker Studio began as an experiment back in 2008. Working out of a small office in our home, this gave us a chance to learn the business and perfect our craft. Within a year, we were able to launch our own independent online shop and expand our work space.

We strive to provide each customer with the best service possible by providing prompt responses to customer queries, paying attention to detail, filling orders as quickly as possible, and making sure that our customers are happy with their orders. If something isn't quite right with an order, we will do our very best to correct the problem in order to ensure customer satisfaction.

We hope that your experience with us is rewarding and we appreciate your feedback. If you are looking for something special but don't see it in our shop, please don't hesitate to ask!

Our customers are important to us and we thank all of you for your business!

Have a blessed day! :)

Frequently asked questions
What is a die-cut decal?

A die-cut decal is a "sticker" made from vinyl. They are made by a blade that physically cuts into a single colored roll of vinyl using a computer controlled machine - much like a razor blade into contact paper. Once cut, the decals are hand peeled and application tape is applied.

A die-cut decal comes in a sheet with three layers. The top layer is a clear or translucent protective shield, the middle layer is the vinyl decal itself, and the last layer is a back liner behind the decal.

What are the advantages of using vinyl decals?

When applied, the vinyl decals look much like paint and have no background. They are very weather resistant, and the vinyl is waterproof, so that these decals last much longer than regular stickers.

Which side of the window should I apply my decal, inside or outside?

All of our decals are cut to be applied to the outside of any window surface. But if you wish to apply it on the inside, be sure to let us know when you place your order that you want to “mirror” your decal. The mirror option will reverse the decal making it appear "backwards" so you can place it on the inside of the window allowing it to look "normal" when you look at it from outside.

I don't see what I want on your site. Do you do custom orders?

Yes, we love custom orders! If you need something special, just send us an email and let us know. Send us your favorite clipart and let us design a personalized decal for you. Send us a photograph and we'll create a custom silhouette for you. We do logos, sports decals, and window storefront signs, too! We also do bulk. Contact us and let us help you design your idea! Send us an email to: dragonflystickerstudio@gmail.com.

I received my order and the envelope was bent. Is my decal ruined?

We do our very best to ensure that your decal arrives in your mailbox in the best condition. However, sometimes things happen while in transit with the shipping provider. If you receive your decal and it looks bent, don't worry. The decal itself isn't ruined, it's just the paper backing below the vinyl that's bent. Vinyl is very flexible and forgiving, so that when you apply it, you won't notice anything. Just be sure to follow the instructions on the back of our business card or on this site for application.

How do I apply my vinyl decal?

1. Clean area thoroughly.
2. Firmly rub over the decal using a plastic card (drivers license, bank card, phone card) or squeegee and then carefully separate transfer sheet from the backing.
3. Make sure that all the vinyl pieces are on the transfer sheet. (Use a needle to help lift up the small pieces if necessary.)
4. Position the decal and rub over it again with the plastic card to avoid any air bubbles.
5. Wait 30 seconds and carefully remove the transfer sheet.

How do I remove my vinyl decal?

1. Clean area thoroughly.
2. Use a razor blade for scraping vinyl off windows. (Use a plastic blade if vinyl needs to be removed from the body of the vehicle). Hold it at about a 45 degree angle to the glass, just under the edge of the vinyl, and carefully push the blade toward the decal to separate the decal from the adhesive. You may be able to peel the decal off once you have the edge lifted. Older decals will be more likely to split into little bits and generally are more difficult to remove.
3. A heat gun can be used to help loosen the vinyl.
4. You can use Goof Off, Goo Gone, Rapid Remover, or a lubricant such as WD40 to help remove any stubborn adhesive.
5. Use soap and water or window cleaner for final cleanup.

What other surfaces can I apply my decal to besides windows?

Our vinyl decals can be applied to any smooth non-porous surface. Possible applications include: windows, walls, doors, trucks, vans, cars, motorcycles, quads, snowmobiles, jet skis, seadoos, boat registation numbers, boat names, metal, glass, plastic, tile, mirrors, drums, guitars, keyboards, skateboards, snowboards, surfboards, laptop cases, computer cases. Ideas for use include: football, basketball, soccer, tennis, golf, all other sports, advertisement, rear window vehicle advertisement, product identity, equipment systems, instructions, signage, warnings, school events, school logos, organizations, and paint stencils, etc. The possibilities are endless!
