Shop policies

Last updated on February 16, 2016
Welcome! Here you can find my policies for different sorts of transactions. It is my aim to provide fast, professional service but some rules have to apply to make transactions go smoothly.

Dragonfyre Dawn Studios on Etsy is run by myself and I make most of the items, though sometimes there are items that are collaborations between myself and my husband.

If you still have questions after reading my policies, please feel free to contact me!

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
  • Buy with Apple Pay
  • Pay with Sofort
  • Pay with iDeal
  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
Payment must be received before I start work on custom art or send pre-made items. If you wish to purchase an item, payment must be received within two weeks or the transaction will be considered abandoned.

Payment is by Paypal or via Direct Checkout. I do not accept any other forms of payment.

Cancellations on custom work will not receive a full refund. A partial refund will be given if the work is started but not yet complete. The money retained will cover fair compensation for the work already done, as determined by me based on the labour and materials already invested in the piece. I reserve the right to cancel the transaction and give a partial refund based on the same criteria if the buyer proves to be difficult to work with or falls out of contact for an extended period of time. Any partially completed work will be sent to the buyer, as-is, provided they cover the shipping costs.
Shipping
Shipping method depends on the item, but is always with USPS. Smaller, lightweight items will generally be shipped First Class, larger items shipped Priority. International shipments will go First Class as Priority is cost-prohibitive.

Delivery Confirmation is included in the shipping price for all shipments within the US. International shipments often include tracking but it may not be fully tracked once it leaves the US.

If you are purchasing multiple items, you may receive a free upgrade to Priority and a partial shipping fee refund if I can fit all your items in a flat rate Priority box.

Please be aware that if you are ordering from out of the United States that there may be duty fees associated with your item crossing the border. These fees are not my doing and are the responsibility of the buyer. Please be familiar with your country's policies before ordering.

Please be aware that shipping may at times be delayed for a few days. I ship orders at least once a week, so that is the greatest delay you should experience for pre-made items.
Refunds and Exchanges
No refunds or exchanges on pre-made items. Custom items can be canceled and given partial refunds at my discretion, based on the amount of work already completed.
Additional policies and FAQs
I am open for custom orders outside of what I have offered here on Etsy. If you think I can do it, just drop me a note!

The copyrights to commissioned artwork remain with me, which means I alone have the right to make prints or publish the image (for profit or otherwise). Fees can be negotiated and a contract stating the terms written up if the commissioner doesn't want their piece to be made into prints or other format, but I will always reserve the right to display the piece online and as part of my professional portfolio. If the commissioner wishes to make a "no prints" agreement or any other form of agreement regarding copyrights, the agreement must be made before the piece in question is started.
