We can make an apron for anyone, even if you can't cook, and even if you don't wear it in the kitchen.

Drapes of Wrath is run by two sisters living in Seattle, WA who design and create all of our aprons by hand. Although designing and creating aprons is not our primary occupation (1 Nurse, 1 Pharmacist) we put all of our creative energy into making the most creative, quality product possible.

Our mission is to Create one-of-a-kind vintage-style aprons that are fashionable, fun and affordable. We also promote sustainability by using upcycled fabrics for most of our pieces. Due to the nature of our materials, no two aprons are exactly alike; even if they are the same design and fabric. We can, upon request, make identical custom aprons (if you needed several to match for example).

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the size or fit of our aprons PLEASE feel free to send a convo or e-mail us at DrapesOfWrathAprons [!at] gmail.com and we will be happy to work with you to ensure a good fit.

We are available for custom orders, including special sizing or specific cloth choices. Please contact us for rates and options. DrapesOfWrathAprons [!at] gmail.com.

Drapes of Wrath is a small shop run by two sisters in Seattle WA. We use upcycled materials combined with new materials to craft fashionable, affordable and green items. We are dedicated to crafting each piece with a unique vision, not a cookie cutter design with only changes in color or fabric. We find vintage or otherwise interesting materials and develop a design based on the feel of the material, which gives a harmonious feel to all of our items.

We ship USPS priority mail (3-4 business days) but can arrange for overnight shipping (within reason, an order placed at 3:30 pm Friday will not likely be eligible for instance) if you contact us first. We ship items twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Items are mailed USPS Priority Mail unless specified otherwise. "Everywhere else" shipping costs are ESTIMATES. Those purchasing items requiring international shipping are advised to contact us prior to purchase for a shipping quote. We reserve the right to send an additional invoice to cover shipping costs in the case that the buyer does not contact us about shipping costs prior to purchasing an item.

As we cannot anticipate what customs charges or fees may be enforced in any given country, and do not incorporate these fees into our shipping prices, the customer is responsible for paying any fees or customs charges.
Refunds and Exchanges
Because our items are hand-made and one-of-a-kind we have a general policy of no returns, but will consider requests on a case by case basis. If you require additional information about an item (size, more pictures, etc) before purchase to ensure you are getting what you hope for, please contact us prior to sale so that we may ensure you will be happy with your purchase.
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom orders: We ARE available for custom orders. Please contact us with information about your desired piece so that we may assess if it is feasible. We would need information about style, size, shape color, fabric type etc. We want you to be happy with your custom order so please make this easy for us by providing us with as much information as possible. We will give you a quote prior to starting any projects.

Upcycled Materials: We attempt to recycle/reuse materials to ensure that our products are sustainable, and also have a vintage feel. We are however very careful that we select only high quality, clean materials that are in good condition for this purpose. We would not for example select a vintage scarf with holes, or vintage linens that are stained or irreversibly wrinkled.

All items are produced in a smoke-free environment.

The vast majority of our products are machine washable, preferably air-dried to maintain shape. Most of them can be ironed. If there is any significant or difficult care needed for your item it will be listed and care instructions included in your order.
