Printmaker based in Raleigh, NC
I am printmaker and teaching artist in Raleigh, North Carolina. I specialize in making linoleum block prints on both paper and fabric. Each artwork I make is hand drawn, hand carved, and hand printed in my little studio space. I am a full time parent to two kids and many of my prints are inspired by the child's point of view that I love capturing in my artwork.
I fell in love with printmaking many years ago as a college student at The College of William and Mary where I studied Psychology and Studio Art. I earned an M.Ed in Elementary Education and a MA in Art Education from The University of Maryland. I have been both a classroom teacher and an elementary art teacher and I was a Museum Educator at The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art when I was living in Massachusetts. I am currently a full time momma who tries to get as much time in my studio space as possible.
