Welcome to the dunkelgrün etsy shop!
Here I am offering you a selection of yarns handdyed in Zurich, Switzerland. My yarn bases come from a small local spinning mill with special attention to the sustainability of their products.

I learned to knit as a little kid from my mother and grandmother in Austria. Now I live in Switzerland and my free time is pretty occupied with wool-related hobbies - dyeing, spinning, knitting. As I am sometimes producing more items than I can use for myself, I would like to share them with you.
All my products are unique and have a story. Made with love!

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns and exchanges
Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery
I don't accept cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
If you receive a wrong item, please inform me as soon as possible so that we can find a way to exchange it.
Items which have been damaged or lost by the mail service cannot be refunded. I do however offer shipping upgrades which provide insurance and tracking!

In case you wish to return your item for any reason, contact me within 14 days after you received it. Please do not send it back without contacting me before. If the request for a return and refund is not issued within 14 days after receiving the item, I will not refund it anymore.

I will refund the price of the item to your PayPal account as soon as I received it in the same condition as I sent it, and only if I was contacted about the return before.
Please note that the buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs and insurance.
I will not refund the shipping costs, and if the item is lost by the mail service, I cannot refund it either.
Payment
PayPal is the preferred method of payment - if this is not possible for you please contact me for finding a different solution of payment.

The item is only shipped after payment has been received.
Shipping
Standard Shipping is an economy parcel provided by the Swiss Post service - this shipping option is affordable, however it is rather slow (can take 5-30 days, depending on where in the world you are) and:
THE STANDARD SHIPPING OPTION DOES NOT PROVIDE TRACKING OR INSURANCE OF THE PACKAGE.

If such a package is lost, the Swiss Post won't provide any compensations or refunds. Please understand that also I cannot offer any compensations or refunds in such a case.
If you wish your package to be track-and-traceable, please select the shipping upgrade during check-out. There are two international options - one for Europe (EU / non-EU) and one for the rest of the world.*

*Track-and-Trace shipping might not be available to all countries in the world.
The general terms and conditions by the Swiss Post are applied.

The shipping costs of multiple items are now automatically calculated as you place items in your cart.
If you have any questions regarding the shipping costs and delivery times to your country, please contact me.

I will ship to the address indicated in your etsy receipt. If you wish shipping to a different address, please inform me as fast as possible.

The buyer is responsible for any custom fees, taxes, or receiving fees.
Additional policies and FAQs
Please note that the colors of the objects in my shop might appear slightly different from monitor to monitor. I try my best to provide high quality photographs that show the actual colors.

All the dyeing, washing, drying and packaging is done in my appartment which I share with my boyfriend and our lovely cat Leila. While I make sure that she doesn't sleep in the yarns that I send out to other people, I can never guarantee that my yarn will be 100% cat hair free. I hope that you understand that.

My home is smoke-free.
Privacy
To fulfil your order, you must provide me with certain information (which you authorised Etsy to provide to me), such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering.
I use your data only to fulfil your order. I share your shipping information (name, postal address and contents of the package if you live outside of Switzerland) with the Swiss postal service (www.post.ch) when I send out your order by mail.

I will use your contact information to contact you in case of an issue with your order, but never to send you marketing emails or similar.
I do not have a newsletter, but if you send me a message via etsy conversation or e-mail expressing the wish to be informed when a certain product becomes available, I might contact you in case I have a shop update with that product within the next 3 months.
The data you share with me are stored in my etsy shop manager also after your order is completed.
I do not save these data anywhere else and do not share them with third parties unless required to respond to legal processes or to government requests. In no case will I keep your data for longer than 4 years.
