-JEWELRY CARE
14K GOLD FILL
All of our gold chains are 14k gold fill. Gold fill is made from solid gold which is 'filled' with other alloys. Unlike gold plate, It will not flake and the surface will not turn your fingers like brass can do. Softly polish by hand with a clean cloth.
BRASS
When left raw brass has the tendency to naturally patina and age over time. Some love that about brass, but if you prefer to keep your piece in it's original bright gold form, store in an airtight container or use a gentle brass/ bronze cleanser or polish.

All orders come in a secure black jewelry box for protection and easy gift giving.
-IS IT NICKEL FREE?
Yes! All of our jewelry is nickel free. Our earring posts are either steel (hypoallergenic) or rhodium. Our gold chains are 14k gold fill. All of our listings will have the metal information. If you have any concerns about a metal allergy please feel free to contact us.

4 out of 5 starsThe item is beautiful and a perfect keepsake from the concerts. My only disappointment is that the item description reads the object will hang 6-7 inches, but it just clears 4 inches. I still absolutely love my purchase, but I had to tweak my plans for it a bit because of this.

This wall hanging exceeds all expectations, and it is such a beautiful piece to remind us of the amazing time we had! Thank you SO much for making these!!

Care instructions
Plated Metals: All plated jewelry will tarnish overtime although it can last a very long time if taken care of properly. Clean with a tarnish cloth ,baking soda toothpaste and an old toothbrush or good ole' warm soapy water. Pat dry. Never leave wet jewelry to air dry. Liquid jewelry cleaner may be too harsh and can strip the plating.
Please do not swim, shower or exercise with your jewelry on. Water will quicken the tarnish process and allow the metal to react (sometimes turning your skin green). Store your jewelry in a dry place away from moisture.

What metals do Duplika Jewelry use? (Part 1)
Here at Duplika Jewelry we utilize a few different types of metals. We will break each down here for you.
Brass: We use this metal the least. Brass is typically made from copper and zinc. It can be a irritant for those with high metal allergies so we try to limit this as much as we can.
Stainless Steel: Most of our earring hooks are made of steel. Steel is a very durable material. With its resistance to rust, oxidation and discoloration, this corrosion-resistant alloy is ideal for long-lasting wear. Steel is an un-plated metal so those with allergies/sensitivities to base metals like copper or brass can wear steel with no problems.
What metals do Duplika Jewelry use? (Part 2)
Here at Duplika Jewelry we utilize a few different types of metals. We will break down each here for you.
14k Gold Fill: All of our gold chains and findings are made from 14k gold fill. We do not use gold plated chains or findings. This does add to the price of the items but you will see that it will also add to the lasting effects of the jewelry.
Rhodium: Our silver color chains are made from rhodium. Rhodium is often mixed with platinum which is a durable material. Unlike stainless steel, rhodium will need to be more carefully cared for as it will tarnish overtime. Never use chemical cleaners on plated jewelry. Simply use a tiny amount of mild soapy water and a gentle hand. Pat dry immediately. Never leave your jewelry to air dry.
