I began my clay journey at a summer class at Montclair State College in NJ some thirty years ago...The journey continues ... I work in both cone 6 oxidation and a new kiln has brought me back to my beginnings, as I learned pottery making in a cone 10 gas kiln. New work is always on the way and your comments and conversations are most welcome.
My work is fully functional as well as decorative, dishwasher, oven and microwave safe . Inspired by our surroundings in the hills of allegany county and the beautiful country side that surrounds the farm. All of the work you see here is made by me, with great attention being paid to the details. It it meant to be used and enjoyed, art for everyday living.
More details can be found on my profile page or by visiting out web site at www.DutchHillPottery.com or on instagram @ clayhead67
