The pendants are just beautiful. Really love them. And so appreciated Erin's help with customizing my order as I needed. Really makes a difference when you receive that type of service.

An artist with wanderlust.
I've been an artist as long as I can remember. Some of my favorite childhood memories revolve around creating art with the amazing artists I am so lucky to call family. There was never a doubt that I would grow up to be a maker. I started making beaded bracelets on a loom in elementary school before transitioning to ceramic pendants. As an adult, I've explored many mediums. I spent time as a photographer and a ceramic artist before finally landing back where it all began, jewelry. I now happily create jewelry in my home studio where my patient husband sits with noise cancelling head phones while I hammer at the anvil or drill on the drill press. It's a noisy life, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Each piece of sea glass or other surf tumbled treasure is discovered by myself or my husband on various shores. In fact, we most often snorkel for our treasures! After collection all items are cleaned, then sorted. After sorting I select the pieces I deem most inspiring and get to work. Sometimes the sea gem in question inspires me to wire wrap. If I wrap, I use a variety of weaving techniques as I love the way metal looks when woven. Other times I see the sea gem in a bezel setting, which means I'll be spending the day behind a torch and a variety of jewelry files! Regardless each item is made with love and inspired by the expressive lines and organic shapes we find in nature. I strive to contrast delicate designs with found objects to create something you can treasure.
I have a deep wanderlust and love of the ocean. I also have a Bachelor's in Fine Arts and a Master's in Education. Art and education consume a large portion of my life. Blissfully so.
I have a passionate love for water, whether ocean or lake, and it is apparent in all my creations. I collect objects that have been tossed aside by people through the years that the water has molded into rare beauties. I then use those objects to create elegant and affordable statement jewelry. Enjoy perusing the shop!
