Can We Sell Any Of This?

I've been creating my own clothing and accessories since I was 10. Back then, I was all about the bead loom. My Girl Guide group had learnt at a camp, and I ended up taking it to the next level. I spent a lot of time with that loom, teaching my friends and making bracelets and bookmarks for various classmates.

In high school I was very excited to have Fashion class available to me. I spent a lot of time in that room, and even competed in Skills Canada, 2004. I was 8th place in my province, but had a lot of fun none the less. I was also an avid participant in all of the yearly school fashion shows. It was so much fun to design and sew my own clothes, and then stomp them down the runway.

Then poof! I became an "adult" and suddenly I was too busy for my creative impulses. It took a beautiful baby girl to teach me to slow down, and remember how much fun it is to just hang out and compose something out of nothing.

I've now been making jewelry for just over a year. I have studied wire-wrapping, off-loom bead weaving, chain maille, and polymer clay techniques. I love to use a variety of materials and skills in my projects in order to create very unique looks.

A few months back, my husband looked at my large stash of shinies and plainly asked me, "can we sell any of this?" Turns out I was taking up a lot of space. As more and more of my friends, family, and co-workers became interested in what I was doing, I decided what the heck? If they all like it this much, then other people probably will to. Thus, EMA Design Studio was born.

    I was always a crafty kid. Mom would give me a spool of string and some beads, I'd be entertained for hours. My daughter is much the same (she's 2 and stringing tigertail, I'm so proud!). We spend our days playing and creating together.

All payments are to be made in full before the item is shipped. If you have made a custom order, I will require a 20% deposit before starting the creation of your item, in order to cover material costs. Custom orders may vary in completion time, depending on the complexity of the project. Most should be ready for purchase within a week of placing the order. I will send you an estimated time of completion within 24 hours of your inquiry, and always before the deposit is made. Frequent updates/pictures of your order will be sent, to allow you to see how your piece is progressing. I promise to work closely with you to ensure that you are satisfied with the finished product.
I ship all items within 48 hours of receiving payment. Shipments are made through Canada Post by air. Please ensure that the adress on your PayPal account is the correct shipping adress, as that is where your items will be sent. If the shipping adress is different, you can leave me a message in the note to seller.

International shipping rate is listed as a base rate, but may be subject to change as I get a better idea of shipping costs. If it turns out that you have overpaid for shipping, I will refund you the difference during the pay pal process.
Refunds and Exchanges
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, I am happy to refund in full on the return of the item in same condition as it was sent. You will have 1 week to ship the item back from the time it arrives. Please send me a confirmation message, stating that the item was shipped, as it make take longer than a week for the item to get back to me. I will send a full refund on the price of the item upon recieving the item. The cost of return shipping will be up to the buyer.

I am very carful in labeling and sending my orders, but if for some reason you receive the wrong item all together, I will not only reimburse your return shipping cost, but will either offer a full refund on your purchase, or I will cover the cost of re-shipping the correct item for you.

Please be aware that your country may charge additional customs duty and/or import taxes.

Please also be aware that as the seller I do not pay for any applicable duty, value added taxes (VAT) or import comsumption taxes charged to you by your country.

The recipient of the merchandise will be required to pay the duty or VAT upon delivery. Due to import duty valuation adjustments and currency valuations, I am unable to provide an estimate for duty or VAT.
